2007 Mini Cooper convertible, stereo signal got worse and now can't listen to the radio, other functions still work. Have changed aerial and still no change? Any clues??

some sort of bad connection inside the radios socket
or bad coax

check the antenna with an ohm meter
to see if the coax is shorted out
and also that there is continutity between the center pin of the coax radio plug and the antenna

you can demount the radio and stick a bit of wire in as a quick test
if you get the signal then its something coax related
if not its something to do with the front end of the radios reciever circuit
and you need a radio engineer that fixes car radios and cb etc
they will make it work for sure
i could in ten mins flat ...possibly a transistor has failed
or a bad connection as it comes and goes ...

Ativa lcd monitor

i think there is a problem with the power on the pc. if you can unplug the lead to the monitor and it works fine. but on the pc will not work, mouse can be connected. the graphics card could be the fault, it could be shorting out and making the power fail. this can damage the psu at the same time if not sorted.

I have no rear lights. There seems to be a short possibly. when you step on the brakes or have the head lights on the turn signals blink fast. All the front lights work fine just no rear lights.

the bulbs that are used are a plug-in style and you need to take them out and check the ends of each bulb. I had one doing the same thing, and the bulb was good, which didn't make sense until I inspected the plug-in, which had a burnt end causing the bulbs to only receive power intermittently. Check yours and you may just be looking at the same thing.

My daughters subaru impreza, brake lights not working intermittently. Had switch replaced three times where she lives. Works for a week or two then quits working again. My husband brought it home, it...

It's not the brake switch. the lights for the brakes, turn signal, headlights, and parking all go to the turn signal switch/ multi fuction switch. this is wher your problem is probably coming from

Hit a bump in the road , speedometer , tact ,went dead

Wonder about your stoplight, taillight? Most of that stuff runs off the accessories fuse. Check that fuse to see if it is blown. If it is, replace it and see what happens. If it blows immediatly, you've got a dead short somewhere. If it stays there, you may have an intermittent short. The intermittant short is a bear to find because it's tough to fix a problem when it ain't there. Electrical problems are always difficult and this about the best information I can give you. It's a starting point.

Good Luck

When turning on left turn signal, the flashers come on, when turning right only the right flasher works.Automatic door locks work intermittently

you have two problems the flashers are shorted. I would check the wire harness at rear off the truck. Possibly a trailer light harness has shorted at the plug most of these can be taken out of the harness and the two ends will plug together without the trailer plug.
