Question about Network Software & Management Tools
i have one problem with my internet connexion. when i use windows vista i got the connexion but wiht windows Xp i dont have the connexion. i think is a problem with my LAN card i dont have the driver... i have an NVIDIA n force networking controller please helps me to get my connexion on XP...thx im waitin for a solution.
In Windows XP, check in Device Manager (DM) to see if the NIC driver is installed. You can get to DM by right-clicking on My Computer, selecting Manage and then clicking on the DM line. If there is a driver problem, the NIC will show up with a yellow mark next to it. If it is just identified as a "PCI device" or something similar then you need to install the chipset driver from NVidia - you can get that from their website. Otherwise check if there is a separate NIC driver for your chipset; if there is, download it from the NVidia site & install it. If this isn't helpful, please come back & tell us more precisely what PC/motherboard/chipset you have!
