Appliance Repair Boise - GE refrigerator making clcking noise

When you hear your GE Profile refrigerator making a clicking noise, coming from the back/rear of refrigerator, your refrigerator control board is bad. If your refrigerator and freezer are still cooling then you are lucky and you might have a few days to get that control board replaced. The clicking sound you're hearing most of the time, comes from a small panel located on the rear of refrigerator. Remove 3 screws and replace.

Front and rear heaters blowing cold air, makes a clicking noise behind dash and rear left panel.

Sounds like the blend door actuator needs to be replaced. It controls the air tempature from the vents and is mostly plastic. They break often.

My ge bottom freezer is making a clicking noise and now its no longer cold

Clicking sound is the safety overload mounted on the compressor. which clicks off if the compressor won't start. Could be a grounded (bad)
compressor, or the start relay/ptc relay/or start capacitor bad. These parts are mounted on the compressor, and can be removed and taken to an appliance parts house for testing.

Rear wiper will not work

There are no relays in the back door that i know of, however it sounds like the gearbox in the wiper motor has broken. if there is power to the plug and a good earth, then its got to be the motor. just one thing to check.. make sure the wiper arm is tight on the spindle. I have seen them come loose and give the impression the motor isnt working, could also explain clicking noise.

Ready?
If the freezer is cold and not the fridge, you need to make sure the freezer is not filled to the top and covering the cold air vents and passages usually found in the rear or bottom rear of the freezer!
If they are blocked or covered with packages the unit will not be able to transfer cold air to and from the fridge!
Yes, they share the air in most refrigerators!

What type fridge,model and age?

If not only a trained tech can make the electronic diagnoses.
Like we used to be able to fix my own cars, but not today they need diagnostic equipment!

How old is the washer?

If the appliance is 10 years old or more you it may not be advisable to put good money into bad!
New appliances are so much more efficient today that they can save you a lot of money in energy!!!!
Water,Electric and detergent! And put money back in your pocket!
The new appliance will pay for itself in only a few years!

You will be fine
