Question about Kodak EasyShare Z650 Digital Camera

Kodak Z650 won't turn on.

Our Kodak Z650 will not turn on. The last operation I did on it was to delete all the pictures. I turned it off, and then a week later when I next picked it up, it will not turn on. I tried replacing the batteries, but no go. The flash pops up, but there is no other sign of life. Is there a reset procedure for this camera?

'I'm having the same problem. I have the printer dock and it will run in there. Is there a firmware reset or upgrade? This is my 3rd Kodak Digital and it will probadly be my last. They all just lasted a short time then quit working. I was stupid for buying another one and now I have a worthless printer dock to boot. What happened to Kodak they used to be a good quality product? I have a Kodak Brownie that6 is over 50 yrs old and it still works!!!

If you have an EasyShare printer dock or AC adapter, try those. If not, you will have to have it repaired, unless your battery is dead or the connections in the battery bay have a foreign object or corrosion blocking the connection.

I have a Kodak Easy Share Z650. The problem is I took pictures without realizing it was stamping with a date, which is not correct. The date is off by a couple of years in some cases. Is there anyway to...

Once the date has been stamped on the photo, it's there just like the subject's face or the overflowing trashcan in the background or whatever. You can edit the photo somewhat using a photo editing program, using the same process as deleting any other object in your photo.

I can't get my Kodak EasyShare Z650 to turn on. I changed the batteries, but still not working. I forgot it on the covered porch at my mom's overnight and am wondering if that is why it isn&#

Try this: take out the memory card, then try to turn on the camera.
My camera would not turn on even with new batteries. For a while I have been having issues with uploading as well. Suddenly it would no longer upload by plugging the camera into the laptop. However, taking out the memory card and plugging it directly into the laptop worked.
The last time I did that, I put the memory card back into the camera while the camera was off. Then the camera would not turn on. I took the memory card back out, then turned on the camera and it came on just fine. Then I put the memory card back in with the camera on. So far so good.

I have a Kodak EasyShare z650. How can I transfer the pictures from the internal memory to the SD disc?

Press the Review button, then press the Menu button. Press up/down to highlight Copy>>, then press OK. Press up/down to highlight an option:

Picture or Video - copies the current picture or video.

Exit - returns to the review menu.

All - copies all pictures and videos from one storage location to another.

Press the OK button.

Note that this is a copy, not a move. The originals remain, and you need to delete them if you want to get rid of them.

Z650 won't stay on

Check and or replace the small button battery on the bottom of the cam. You can use a quarter to open the cap. remember which side of the battery is facing up when you open it, VERY important.

Kodak Z650 LCD is black

Check to see if there is a battery save mode for the viewfinder. Check the instruction manual for this.

It is also possible that the drive circuit for the LCD display has a fault. It was simply coincidential that it went bad while you were transfering pictures.
