I cannot join parties on xbox live

Open or forward ports on the router for your Xbox. Get the ports from Xbox live then configure the router to allow those ports to pass.

Halo 3

make sure your NAT is open, you can check this by running a connection test on your console. there are 3 types of NAT connection. Open, Moderate & Strict.

Open being the ideal option, strict meaning lots of problems connecting with talking and finding other players on xbox LIVE.

NAT settings can usually be found on your routers setup / settings page (usually ) but some routers may not have setttings for your NAT.

hope that helps
