You pressed a button. Wish I had my camera in front of me to remember how you did it and how to clear it. I think yu just need to hit the "OK" button on the back of the camera, but dang, I am not sure. If I had the camera here, I know I could figure it out.

Until someone gives you the definitive answer, relax, camera is not broken. (((SMILE)))

I have black spots on my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS8 lens camera

If you want to know if these spots are on the sensor. Or you want to exclude this, You could try this:
Put the camera in A priority. (manual mode). Turn the aperture to the highest setting. Greatest figure like f 22 I can't find the exact figure. It could be it is only 8. Then in a bright light, take a picture of a white sheet of paper. The picture that comes out, should be checked on dark spots. If they are there the spots are on the sensor. If you can't find the spots on the white picture, something else is wrong.

Black spot on the picture

I had similar spots on my Canon compact camera because dust had entered the body and rested on the sensor.

My Kodak Easyshare V1223 turns on and shows all icons normally on the view screen as well as older pictures on the memory card...but shows everything else black and pictures remain black even with flash...

Hi!

It is not necessary something wrong with the camera itself. Sometimes the simptom is caused by the memory card. Reading from it works (so you can see older pictures) but every new picture is written wrong, so the camera shows only black.

Hope it is only the memory card in your case.

Good luck,

Bogdan

When capturing picture in open-air at time of night.... my dmc f3 cam shows spots in picture spots if dust particles present in the air which spoil the look of picture :( plz help

If these are flash pictures, you are experiencing dust particles in the air reflecting the flash back into the camera lens. This is a problem with point and shoot cameras because the flash is so close to the lens.

Hello Sir or Madam, My wife has recently taken pictures and most of her pictures have white spots in them, does this mean that my digital camera is defective?

Do the spots only occur when taking flash pictures and do the spots look like "soap bubbles" and appear in different places in each picture? If so, these are dust particles reflecting the flash back into the lens. It's a problem with all point and shoot cameras because the flash is so close to the lens.

Caplio R7 Lens having black spots

Sounds like the spots are on your sensor. If on the lens, it would be too out of focus to matter.

Canon 350D photos have a small red dot on them

if the red spot is always on the same place in each picture.... seems like a problem with the sensor ...

The sensor uses three channels to create colour... RED / GREEN / BLUE... one of the pixels for one of the sensors is gone
