- my sony cybershot DSC-S40 flash won't work. When I set it to flash, and snap, the red light comes on, but doesn't flash. As a result, I can't take quality photos in low light. - Flash is configured to ON. When picture is taken, the red light @ the bottom right corner of the camera flashes. I can't find any reference to this red light.- cquesnel

My flash stopped working on my Nikon Coolpix. The battery is fine and all other functions are working properly. I've tried every possible flash setting an none of them produce a flash.
