The thermostat is broken in a Toastmaster Mod 324029G. Where can I buy a replacement? Jan Williams

Jan, As you should know "pilots" shut down all of the time...I would check with a pretty smart guy in Florida, e-mail has been around the world working on (with) pilots lighting them up and making sure they stay lit even as far away as istanbul turkey and ercan cypress...this guy could bring some light into your life, so to speak...Good Luck...

Is there any place to get a heating element for an OLD Dayton Electric Garage Heater..... model 3E087..... 240V, 10,000watt. It has a circular heating element, and only the inner most part of the element...

I think your best bet is to go to and go to repair parts for dayton furnaces with your model and serial number and part no. if possible. You can also call1-800-323-0620 and get location of dealer nearest to you.
I have dealt with them for many years and they have always treated me right. Not always the cheapest but I have been happy with the service and the expertise of their staff. I hope this helps you and have a good new year.
Thank you.

Lakewood heater 792/AA Fan works and pushes warm air, but element/coils never heat up where heater actually gets hot.

sounds like a broken element or wire. with unit unplugged, using an ohm meter check all connections and check elements for resistance.

My cadet c202 heater is running the fan is blowing cold air but no heat, is it the thermostat or heating elements or both???or ?????

I work in a motel and replace these heaters quite often, Cadet C202, a 240v 2000 watt wall heater. Most of the time when they blow cold air it's because the heating element is broken. First turn off the circuit breaker, then remove the heater from the wall. If you take out three screws, slide the top cover off, bend the two little tabs and take out the heating element, you can examine it and usually you will find a place where it is broken, it's like a big spring. Replacement elements can be ordered from online stores such as Be very careful, 240 VAC is very dangerous! <!-- from fixya rte -->

Jrg electric fire mod jrg 930 how do you get access into element area

There are two retaining screws partially hidden at the bottom of the front grille. Remove these two screws completely. Then slide the whole grille downwards until the two top retaining tabs are exposed. Lift off the grille. The elements are retained with springs. Push the element deeper into the LH socket until the RHS is free and then remove. When replacing the grille make sure the bottom edge is in first, then slide upwards until the tabs are located in the slots, and replace the two screws.
