Have 2 P3005's and 1st one starting squeaking after 5000-5500 pages printed. 2nd one after around 2000. Replaced toner with no change. It appears to come from the right side when facing printer. I've looked to see if I can remove case but with no luck yet.

SOURCE: my HP LaserJet P4015n is making a high pitched

Same thing happened to mine at work. All because the paper tray indicator was not exactly on 'letter' size.

Remove the lower tray and remove all of the paper. Insure that the 2 paper size selectors are exactly on the marks for the size of paper you are using.

My HP4015N is now running at full speed with NO ANNOYING HUM!!

Try replacing the Drum Unit, this is a problem I have encountered many times as a service technician. most recently I had one that was at 89% remaining and every time the unit begins the print process it makes a high pitched squeal.

I turned on my Dell 1110 printer and it keeps making the same noise over and over. The top "rollers" keep moving and I am not printing anything. I had to turn off the printer because it was getting so...

It does have a high pitched noise when it first starts up that is annoying, but after a few minutes it stops. If the roller is keep moving and non-stop, maybe you should contact dell.

Printer makes noise before it starts printing

If it's a high pitched squeal it means the bearings in the laser assembly are worn out, the laser assembly in this model can be very expensive, just a guess since I can't hear the noise in person.

Hp laserjet 1200 series printer with high pitch nose when in printing process. During this loud noise, the roller turns but the paper is not picked up therefore printing does not occur.

noise is caused by the toner cartridge and paper is not going trough because there is a plastic milar clse to the feed roller that is bent, find it and push it towards the inside of printer (is a black or dark brown plastic mylar)

Wont turn on and high pitch noise

Looks like the printers internal electrical components have gone. if there is a tranformer in your printer then that is making that noise. or else even the motors might also be gone.

my strong suggestion take it to any authorized service personnel

The high pitched whine and the paper stopping just before the fuser (the hot) unit is a known issue on the C3000 and C4100. If you are still searching for the solution to this issue, let me know, as I now have a working fix for the problem.
