The fault depends on the unit model. To be more specific I will need to know what model you are using.
York heaters should have a 5 years warranty. Try also contacting the manufacturer.

    Hi,

I did not find your model number, However, if the tech fixed the problem quickly, he just did reset.

Reset is done switching thermostat to “OFF” position, and disconnecting power (trip circuit breaker) for ten minutes.

If that does not work, try giving me model name, or select model here. If unit is less than ten years it should be warranted, at least in US,

Why would my combo A/C - Heater unit not blow air while heating or cooling is selected but will blow air just fine when set to "fan only"?

Sounds like wiring issue to me. I've delt with units like this and there is a wire lead for fan only and a separate one to run the fan when the unit is cooling or heating. I'm only speculating here but I would bet money that this was improperly installed.

Dont get discouraged though because it sounds like its working (for the most part) if you feel up to the task find the manual and check your connections. Otherwise hire a professional.

Vauxhall combo heater not working

Coolant is the carrier heat.

Top off the coolant system and test heater setting.

If the coolant and thermostat is over 2 years old then you should do a coolant flush.

I have a york diamond 80 heater. The part that blows the heat out won't come on.. igniter lites and flames come on but blower doesn't..help we are freezing

Sounds like your fan switch is defectiveor posibble installed in the wrong place. This switch is heat controlled and delays the fan coming on until there is warm air to blow.

It sounds like you have a blend air door stuck. This is in the housing of the heater a/c blower unit under the passenger side of the dash. There is a motor on the top of the housing that could possibly be stuck or on working.
