Question about HP Compaq Presario F730US Notebook
When I turn on my F730US after it has been sitting overnight, the cooling fan makes a spinning noise for a few minutes until it warms up. I tried to vacuum the dust out from outside the fan vents to no avail. Does the fan have to be replaced? Is there any way to lubricate the fan spindle?
It is very difficult to get access to the bearing to lubricate it. The best solution is to replace the fan.
