Before you wash your yoga mat, it is important to note the type of material that it is made from. Different materials are going to require different washing methods, and so you want to know what you are dealing with before you wash your mat and potentially ruin it.

Although most mats are made from PVC (vinyl); some newer, eco-friendly mats are made from materials like natural and recycled rubber, jute, and organic/natural cotton.

The main difference is that yoga mats are lighter andthinner than Pilates mats. They tend tobe made out of the same material.

As long as the gasket isn't broken you can reuse it but be careful becaust they are very easily broken.
I use a thin bladed screwdriver to remove the carbon and old glue, then vacuum up the mess. I sometimes use my sandblaster just for good measure.
If I'm not mistaken, there is a notch on the burner mat. Put the notch under the fuel inlet. I put a bead of the white adhesive all the way around the mat. I also put a drop in the middle. Press the mat down good and flat.

If the burner mat is loose it will make that sound. A loose burner mat will also cause a soot problem. The soot can also be caused by too little air flow thru the burner.

You need to have a new mat put in the bottom of the burner. When this mat lifts, sometimes the flame will cause a moaning noise with a large yellow flame. A new mat and maybe a burner ring will fix ya.

Sounds like you have a faulty seat heater.It is a material mat with wires woven in to it that is mounted under your seat material and if the wires become exposed there is no insulation to protect you.So you will have to have the mat either replaced or diconnected. Good luck
