Try re-seating your memory modules if this doesn't work, try reeseating other boards which are connected to your motherboard - try re-seating cables to your hard disk and cd/dvd drives - good luck. let me know how you get on.

What are the voltage and current requirements for the power supply for an Airnet (AES205P) 5-Port Ethernet Switch

powersupply should be +5VDC/2.5A The cost of this power supply may not be worth the trouble since this switch is 16 years old. Newer switches are faster and have better firewall protection.

Not getting switching on.

Make sure that all the power cables required are connected properly to the motherboard, test the powersupply on another motherboard for example or use a powersupply tester.

Check that the power switch is connected on the right pins on the motherboard and that the switch works.

The motherboard should turn on - spin fans even if there is no memory, cpu or video card installed. So something is not connected properly, or either the powersupply or the motherboard is faulty.

IW-P250A3-1 Resistor R60 is blown. What is the value?

NO Electrical power? Them Power Supplies sometimes goes out at the craziest times. Normally if a powersupply is faulty, you just replace it, with another one . The problem comes in, when you need a speciality type of powersupply instead of your good ole stand by ATX form factor. It appears to me, you have a faulty 250 Watt power supply that is design for that system. You say it's IW-P250A3 Power Supply and you want to know the cost of the part replacement? I seen for prices like $30.00 dollars of as high as $117.00 dollars. I would check with your local Tech Store, or check out ebay, also maybe a tech site like directron or newegg for pricing. Good luck on your adventure with replacing the PSU. Hope this help.

Upgrading the power supply for new card evga 9800 gtx+

What kind of help do you need?

Open two screws in back of the computer case, take the side panel out, unscrew old power supply, disconnect the cables also, take the powersupply out, insert new powersupply, screw it in and connect the cables.

surely 500-800W will be enought.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks and good luck.

Plugged my computer into a 220 outlet!

You burned the Power supply you don't need to switch motherboard out just knew power supply. And in the future there is a switch located on the back of them that will make them a 220v powersupply. But usually only a high end PC for gamers will need that so just put in a new powersupply and you should be good

Computer will not boot.

Double check all connections and then remove anything not needed. Remove video card and try onboard video if available, remove all but one mem module, any cards and disconnect all drives. If you get video at this point, shut down and reconnect drives and components one by one. It helps if you have known-good parts to swapt as "new" does not always mean good.

Brand new coolmax cug-950b power supply. everything appears to be hooked up correctly, but it wont power up the mother board

the best thing when you can't see power going through your computer is
1. check the obvious once again (the current setting in the back of the ps.. is it 115??
2. replace the powersupply for known good powersupply.. if it works, your powersupply is defective (likely) if it doesn't your motherboard (unlikely), your memory (likely) or your cpu (unlikely) maybe the one defective.

Replaced bulb. Still doesn't work.

Make sure the safety switch or the lockout switch is not activated. Usually near where you opened up to replace the lamp. Sometimes the switch is visible and other times it isn't. IF you can see the switch, manually hold in and see if set turns on then. IF it does, you have just solved your problem. IF it doesn't it could still be a bad power supply or better known as a ballast powersupply. Listen for a buzzing sound. That is better know as the powersupply trying to fire up the lamp. If u hear that it is most likely good. Also, Keep in mind, that the new lamp could be bad!! Just because it is new, Doesn't always guarantee that is GOOD. Try these things and get back with me. Good luck....GURU JAY

No power on my VT-300ATX powersupply

If you're trying to just plug in the wall power cablem without connecting the motherboard it will not work. Switching power supplies need to detect a load (device) otherwise they will not put out power. Safety feature.....
