Check for plugged drain hole inside evap area, check for working fan ( open freezer door, hold in on light switch, wait few seconds and see if fan comes on). If all ok, the replace mother board.

Freezer insulation

Could you fit a trace heater inside the drain tube to keep the ice from forming? Or extend the dripdown time after defrost cycle so the water doesn't accumulate? If the tech thinks the insulation has blown, it may be time to bite the bullet and replace the fridge.

Ice forms in bottom of freezer on frigidaire

dependant on appliance you may have a small drain hose at the base of the appliance that drains the defrosted water away at regular intervals. Sometimes this blocks and the water that should drain away just starts to freeze over.

Fridge drain is overflowing into base of fridge, causing build-up of ice over base, which then 'sticks' the salad boxes to the base of the fridge, making them difficult to draw out. I have to scrape the...

Some insect would have gone into the drain pipe and blocked the outlet for the water to flow and it gets collected inside.

First please clean the drain pipe and remove any block.

Defrost your refrigerator at least once in three days.

Excess ice formed in the freezer chamber will result in less cooling and melting of ice and make it run down.

The above remedies should solve your problem

Water pooling inside base of fridge about a 1/2 cup per day.

check the coils at the back of the freezer if the are ice. Have it defrosted and have it cleaned up. The ice may have frozen your thermostat or may have just accumulated too much ice that the excess may have started to melt causing water to form at the base.

GE GSS25WGMCC, Ice Forming On Freezer Interior Surfaces

i had the same problem and i replaced the defrost heater and it worked fine for about one month but now having the same issue. Most of the time from what I have heard it is the defrost heater (about $60 part). I might have another issue going on with mine like a defrost thermostat. Your defrost heater is right under the panel on the inside of the freezer section. remove white panel on back side of freezer section and remove two screws and two wires and replace it and you should be fine.

Ice is forming in the bottom of the freezer compartment, and water forms under the fridge freezer. Also the comperssor does not always respond to the freezer setting when the stat is turned...

compressor may not start for quite a time even if you change the stat setting. this is deliberate.

ice on floor of the freezer is caused by the drain being blocked - probably with ice. remove the back panel inside the freezer and melt the ice off with a hairdryer. you will have to clear the drain itself with hot water - needs a bit of patience.

this can just happen with time but you may have a fault on the defrost system which is causing it
