I have a pci wireless adapter from at&t when I put it in the pci slot it says network controller and I can't get it to work I have windows xp pro what should I do AT&T told me to download the drive first then put the wireless adapter in but it does not see it

go to device manager - click on the device - select driver - uninstall it - reinsert your adaptor - and xp should find the driver ok - if it can't find it - point it to where you downloaded the driver from at&t.
