My printer works perfectly until I put the 1m long paper and try to print. First half of the paper is printed correctly, but the other one is not. It looks like the toner hasn't been pasted to the paper. It looks like mess.
Http://www.kingswaytechnology.com.au/pdf/indesigncustompageosx.pdf Go to this link, it is for a Different docuprint model, but the setup should be the same. Also Set to thin card stock, will stop your fusing problem, and use standard print mode, unless you have 1GB RAM in the printer.

Re: Problem printing 1m long paper on 7760
If your driver setting is not set to the proper paper size it will not fuse the entire page.
What you seem to have is a simple setting problem either the machine of the print driver are not set to the correct length shutting the fuser off.
You could have a failed fuser, but if the first half is fine, you have a setting incorrect.

First your computer selects the printer to output to, so make sure your default printer is selected.
Next, within your printer you may have selected a different page size for output as a default.
The printer it self should allow you to load and auto detect paper size. If this feature is not enabled see if it is a choice.
Also whatever you are trying to print check page setup in the program you are using make sure to ensure they match.
Hi there maximum time we found it is a the head problem. The print head is what the cartridges sit in inside of the printer. For resolve the problem please follow these.
Open the printer and wait for the carriage to slide over. Some how if its not come then Unplug the printer & Manually slide the carriage.
Now Remove the ink cartridges from the print head & Use wet warm cotton swab or use alcohol to thoroughly clean the print head.
Repeat this until there is no ink residue coming off on the cotton swab. After finished it make the head dry then fix it back. Now Try to print something now
If that does not work then follow the next step.
Remove the printer data cable & restart the PC & printer. Then fit back the data cable & turn on the printer. Hope that's start working , if no luck then Uninstall the printer driver & restart the PC & Printer both again. Now install the driver of the printer and connect it with PC ,Turn on printer & go for a test print from the printer preference. Thanks & waiting for your reply.
There are a few solutions to this problem.
1. The 7760 does not duplex from the MPT
2. The 7760 will not duplex certain paper types eg. envelope, transparency, labels, thick card stock, special. If your paper type is set to any of these it will default to simplex printing.
3. Conflicts in driver settings will cause the printer to default to simplex printing.
4. From the machine settings, duplex can be enabled or disabled. (Though driver settings should override this).
Hope this helps.
This is a common problem of all laser printers, don't worry i will give you solutions for this. If you can able to remove the DRUM set from the printer and check that any power leak or not, IF yes clean it well and insert into printer again take a printout , afterthat also coming like dirty. So please change the drum and put a NEW DRUM. Your drum capacity is crosed beyond the limit.
I hope that my suggession will helpful to you, if yes please rate this ...
Even though the printer doesn't call for new ink, remove or replace the color cartridge. First I removed the color and the test page printed at full speed. I then put in a new color cartridge and it again worked full speed. I believe the problem was somewhere in the half used color cartridge. Hope this solves your problem.

on photosmart machines you have different trays for different sized media. try placing it on the one for envelops tray or on the regular tray towards the left corner. try copying first if that works try printing from the pc. you may need to change the paper type if it fails to start the print job.
