If it is a tube television. First check your AC socket then if you have line protection. If directly connected to wall socket, much probably a fault on high voltage section or power supply section. Horizontal output transistor, flyback, minor component on high voltage section or power supply. Check also the fuse. But busted fuse indicates a fault on the system. If you are not inclined on electronics. Have it check by the experts. Line supply and high voltage inside.
