WE ARE NOT ABLE TO GET ANY INTERNET CONNECTION IT IS SAYING LOMITED OR NO CONNECTIVITY.BUT YET PLUGGING A COMPUTER DIRECTLY INTO ROUTER YOU GET CONNECTION

Same Problem

-   I have also run into this problem in the past wee. The cable connection works perfectly well when directly plugged into my PC, but when I try to plug it in through the Linksys wireless-G Broadband Router (and from there to the PC), I lose all internet connectivity and can't seem to restore it.

I seem to have found a lot of people on here claiming the same problem, but no solutions.. Is this fixable?

-   I just reformatted my Windows XP. Even though I plugged my internet cable into my router, I still get no internet access. After going to the control panel to set up networks, and completed all the wizards, it still didn't work. I tried changing the settings, trying all the options, but it still didn't work. My computer doesn't even show the two computers with a globe or X on it! Just a plain audio speakers, and a shield for security, as well as the time. Anyone find a solution about all this? -   pinkgirl127

Please Help my homework's never gunna get done while watching tv ever again if i dont get a soulution! -   emmabean2

You could try to manually set your IP address in the TCP/IP, the gateway and your ISP DNS

I have internet through the modem but no wireless. The lights are on the router, WRT54G. I've tried reinstalling, shutting down, restarting and checking the encryption key. My router is listed for the for the wireless networks in the area. When I try and connect wirelessly I'm getting the message that there is no internet connection detected. My router stopped working exactly 1 year after I installed it.

I have the same problem... whenever I turn on my computer though, running the EZSetup Wizard helps me for that session. Halfway through the setup, I get an error message and cant continue, but I'm magically connected to the internet. Once I shut off my computer again, bye bye internet connection. Wireless connection to the router itself is no problem. Wired connection to the router still gives me no internet (until I go through the EZSetup). Odd.

My wirelss router was working fine and I had no problem using the internet from my wireless laptop. However, a couple days ago I suddenly could not get internet access and no my laptop network connection says local access only. I can get internet by directly connecting my laptop to the router but that's it. Any ideas.
