Freezer is building up ice in the back which is blocking the vents. I have cleared the ice and tried to open the vents but 2 hours later its the same and the motor keeps running

If its again building up ice, that means the unit is not defrosting.Its starting the cooling procedure, then while defrosting, its not working.The defrost assembly consists of three main parts.The defrost thermostat, the defrost heater and defrost board.Any of the one is not functioning.When thermostat sense the maximum cooling, it triggers the defrost heater to start heating and this defrosts the ice collected on the coils and the system works.Both thermostat and heater are controlled by defrost board.First the thermostat and defrost heater to be checked, if both check ok by meter and visually, then its defrost board causing the problem.You can get required parts from from online sites like:--- www.repairclinic.com or from searspartsdirect online site. ----------- Before that you can try manual defrost reset procedure.The manual defrost reset procedure is as follows : ---- First unplug the unit from main power outlet. Then empty whole unit completely. Then keep both the doors open. Wait for 24 hours. All the ice collected on the coils and in the freezer section will get melted. Clean the water from the sections. Then Connect the power cord of the unit to main power outlet after 24 hours/.Then set the temperature to normal in both fridge and freezer section. It will take near to 4 hours to get run in its proper cooling cycle. Then check, if the problem returns again. If the same problem occurs then it's defrost problem. ------------------ This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

07 ttr 125 cranks but will not start right up when it does it will not take gas it dies and you have to turn key off and back on before it will start back it will idle for a few seconds and die again over...

I have two ttr 125's and my son has another, all 05's but i ran into this with a friends 02 as well. All ttr 125's are cold blooded bikes to say the least. the cold starting procedure that works is to first lean the bike over to the left till it dribbles a little gas on the floor. hit the electric start for a few seconds only, wait 20 to 30 seconds and do it again. holding the starter button down and cranking will do nothing but flood the bike out. short busts only, dont give it any gas ever, this will also do nothing. first it will start for a brief moment then die, hit the button for about 3 to 4 revelutions and wait, the next time it will start again, most likely only for a few seconds again, repeat this and each time it will run a little longer till it keeps running on it own. the best way to get your ttr to start easier is to cut the top of the airbox off, this will give the bike more power (youll see why when you look at the tiny opening) and allow you to spray starting fluid under the back of the seat right into the airbox. it makes starting a cold bike 5 times faster. usually only 2 repeats of the starting procedure.

Whirlpool Microwave Hood Combination MH3184XPS-0 (October 2004), for no reason at all, this morning keeps beeping and running the power setting down from 10 to 1, and just keeps doing it in rapid sequence....

Ours just started doing this exact same thing this past Friday - 12/11/09. What's going on? The cook power just starts beeping all by itself and going from 10 down to 1 over and over again. It may stop momentarily, but then starts again within a minute or so - it's constant until we unplug it. We plug it back in and within a few minutes it starts doing it again. What gives?

My yellow color is not printing. I change cartridge twice, run a few times cleaning process, but no even a dot of yellow color on the paper. What should I do?

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. There are two step-by-step procedures to resolve the issue—

Procedure 1

  1. Turn off the printer and ensure that the print head is at its home location and locked in place as normal;
  2. Power off the printer at the wall or by removing the power cable for at least 20 seconds;
  3. While you restore power to the printer at the wall socket or by reinserting the cable, if the lights come back on straight away, the printer’s power switch was ‘on’ - switch it off and return to step 1;
  4. Hold down the paper-feed button and the button with the ink-drops next to it, and then turn on the printer, still holding the buttons down;
  5. When the paper-out LED flashes, release the buttons;
  6. Press and hold the Cleaning button, until several lights flash - this will take a few seconds then release the button;
  7. The printer will now attempt to reset, including resetting the EEPROM memory and running a short (about 10 seconds) cleaning cycle.

Procedure 2

  1. Turn off the printer and ensure that the print head is at it’s home location and locked in place as normal;
  2. Hold down the paper feed button only;
  3. Turn on the printer;
  4. As the paper feed light starts flashing, release the button;
  5. Immediately hold down the ink-drops button for some 10-20 seconds or until the printer springs into life;
  6. Allow printer to complete its processing then turn it off for a few seconds and turn it again on.

By following any of the above step-by-step procedure, the printer will start printing normally.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Sharp a/c-#AF-S85FX

The e1 code is operated by a timer which stops the machine every 720 hours of run time. There are 2 procedures to reset this.

1) unplug the machine. Hold down the power button while plugging it back in and waiting for a beep of about 5 seconds duration. Release the power button. Unplug the machine again. Resume trying to use it as an air conditioner.

2) unplug the machine. Hold down the Mode button while plugging it back in and waiting for a 3 second beep. Release the mode button. The machine will start. turn it off by pressing the power button. Resume trying to use the air conditioner.

If these do not work, the "clean filter timer" is broken and will require you to replace some parts.

(Aren't you glad there is a computer is almost everything?)

AIR CONDITIONER MODEL #AF-S85FX--CODE E1 COMES ON-CLEANED FILTER, BUT UNIT WONT RESET AND KEEPS DEFAULTING BACK TO CODE E1

The Sharp e1 problem is a timer that is pretending to demand that you clean the filter. It stops the machine every 720 hours and forces you to do a procedure to get it to go away.

There are 2 possible procedures.

1) Unplug the machine. Hold down the power button while you plug the machine in and wait for a beep about 5 seconds long. Let go of the power button. Unplug the machine. Plug it back in.

2) Unplug the machine. Hold down the mode button while plugging the machine back in and waiting for a beep of about 3 seconds duration. Let go of the mode button. The machine will start. Turn the machine off by pressing the power button. Resume trying to use the machine normally.

If these don't work, the "demand to clean filter" timer is broken and you will need to buy parts to repair the machine.

(Don't you just love having a computer chip in every appliance?)

My comp is missing the startup files and i am missing bigfix programs how do i get the setup cds or dvds for the emachine i have now?

If system restore does not fix your computer, then you have hardware problems (overheating, faulty memory or CPU, or some other component). Start by looking at those possibilities.
