The phone display window is blank but the phone works any suggestions for turing that on?

your phone's LCD display is defective and it should be changed. I have a similar problem but till it works that way, I can live with it. Actually I have 3 more with good display - hehe....

If annoys you, get a used one from Amazon for 44 USD

Sending it to repair might cost you more.

Display screen is losing pixels, not even legible anymore?

I'm sorry but there is no economical fix for this type of problem. The LCD screen is simply failing.

If the phone is still under warranty, you can certainly return it to your place of purchase for a refund or exchange.

Otherwise you simply have to live with it as it is, or go out and buy a whole new phone handset.

Good luck.

My screen won't turn on but the phone works and the keyboard lights up

you did not mention if your phone is a slide up type or not, if it is slide up type where in you need to slide up the upper part to see the keyboard then its gonna be the flex of the phone is defective or cut out, if its not, its the LCD DISPLAY...thanks!!!

GE Cordless Phone #28111EE2 --Caller ID not clear --Not legible like areas spotted

sounds like your phones have been exposed to moisture / water or something similar because it sounds like the ribbon that connects the display screen to the cpu has bad connections and or corroded connections...also these ribbon lines are very close to each other at the cpu side of the phone so any water/ moisture residue will short out some pins to each other and cause all kinds of weird effects like the one your having....I would suggest to have your phones looked at for water corrosion and if still able to..have the board cleaned with acetone or pcb cleaner and resolderd.....good luck

Phone numbers not showing on caller id LED screen.

disassemble the handset (if you can figure out how to get it open). Flip the LCD screen over so that you can get to the end of the wire ribbon. You want the end that is connected to the phone, not the LCD screen. Carefully use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the cable being careful not to melt it. Your goal is to melt the glue that connects the tiny wires to the electrodes. When glue is melted use a pencil eraser to press the wires so that they make contact again. Let it cool and try it out. It should work well after that. Put your phone back together.

Siemens 2420 Phone System

I had the same issue a while back and I believe a new power supply fixed that problem. If you know anyone with a multi-meter and they know how to use one they can tell you if your power supply is bad or not putting out enough voltage. I believe this system requires 12 volts and 400 milliamps it will say on your current power supply.
