Scherna 7331U beard trimmer

I have a 7331U model. I have three blades and an extra large blade which fits the hair trimmer attachments i.e 7 or 8 etc. The three blades fit the motor but I can't se how the extra large blade with the hair trimming attachment fits onto the motor? I've tried everything!

SOURCE: Replacement Blades

I dont believe you can get replacement heads for non-professional clippers. If you are going to invest in a new pair you could go to Sally's Beauty Supply and purchase a pair that you could always get a replacement head for.
If you dont want to invest in a new pair you could bring that pair in there and see if any of the replacement heads they have may fit. There is usually eather 2 or 4 screws that will go in there. You could find one that looks the same and it may just work! Good Luck!

SOURCE: Trimmer malfunction

Hi,

I had same problem, at first I could not find out how to seperate the small silver cover with the on/off switch from the rest. After removing the 3 torx screws, 1 at the power entrance, and 2 under the shaver blade. You can remove the black cover. I also removed 2 more torx screws to separate the battery, from the rest, (don't know if thats really necessary). The silver covers are 'clicked' into eachother. When lifted the part where the battery part was screwed into, the silver parts became partly seperated, then you can pull the part apart.
I cleaned/washed the trimmer part with wd40 contact spray.
Assembled the parts, and made sure that the little plastic nodge was came into the trimmer.
Cleaned it all (removed leaking wd 40) and works fine again.
Hopefully this is helpfull to anyone.

Goodluck,
Adrian

How do i put back the blades on a wahl 9918C beard trimmer

You connect the blades together with the plastic part the correct way through the top of the small moving blade. The plastic part becomes a guide to keep the 2 blades running straight and true. Then engage the plastic part into the motor cam shaft and the 2 tension springs at the same time and wriggle it onto the screw hole posts and fit & tighten the screws. Lubricate and you're done.

Brand new andis trimmer pulling hair and not cutting good

The questions about Andis T-Outliner or Andis Styliner II, about not cutting or pulling hair.
On the Andis T-Outliner trimmer if the sharpness of the blade is worn out, all the tricks and treats won't make this blade to cut hair. Before I do any kind of work to the trimmer, I first test the coil for the right amount power, I can get out of the coil, without this power, it doesn't matter how new or old the trimmer is, the trimmer will not cut hair at all. If the coil is good, I will sharpen the blade and set it according to your needs (lineups or shave setting) after the blade is sharpened and set. The trimmer will need to be, adjusted for alignment to the blade, adjust the power of the coil, and adjust the tension for the blade. All these factors are involved in the Andis T-Outliner to cut hair clean especially lineups or shaving. These adjustments work together for the trimmer to work properly. I know that we all trying to save money, which is part of life, but sometimes frustration will take over and say hell with it, I'll buy another or forget it. Manufactures make mistakes, sometimes the trimmer was not sharpened or adjusted correctly. Any case, what I'm trying to say here, if you try all the tricks & treats and can get your trimmer to work, it may be easier for you to send it to a professional to sharpen & repair the problem and set the blade according to your needs (lineups or shave setting) We specialize on Andis T-Outliner Trimmers. Our complete sharpening & repair service is $19.99 each trimmer, this includes return shipping. We sharpen the blade, adjust and set the blade according to your request (Lineup or Shave setting) make all the necessary adjustments for alignment, power, tension to make your trimmer work better than new. I have a Conair GMT189CGB 13 piece styling trimmer how do I change the nose/ear trimmer? I have no idea how it snaps in? what a terrible design!

You do not need to unscrew anything. Instead, simply take the beard trimmer (with the beard shaving blade still screwed on) in your hand, with the power button and "CONAIR" logo facing you. Then, put your thumb under the shaving blade and apply force to pop it off. So, the shaving blade, and the top part of the unit that it's screwed into will simply pop off. Then, you simply align the nose/ear hair attachment, and snap it in to the beard trimmer unit.
