Hi,

Follow the below guide :-

Drain line/air gap A clog in the drain line or air gap (if there is one) is the usual reason that a dishwasher won't drain. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. If you remove this line, you can clear any debris from the hose or hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again.

Pump Your dishwasher pump ejects the water. The pump is usually mounted directly to the motor, then attached to the bottom of the dishwasher. You can reach the pump from inside the dishwasher, but first you need to remove the lower rack, the spray arm, and the spray arm support.

Look for an impeller--a round plastic fan blade-type of device that spins around. This is the wash impeller, which forces the water through the spray arm. Beneath the wash impeller is the drain impeller, which is similar in size and shape to the wash impeller. The drain impeller pushes the water toward the drain port. These components make up the pump. If any of the pump components are defective, you need to replace them.

Drain valve and/or solenoid Many dishwashers use a drain valve with an electric solenoid. When electricity flows to the solenoid, the valve opens and diverts the water to the drain. Sometimes the solenoid, or the diverting lever, sticks and prevents the dishwasher from draining or filling properly. Try to free up the solenoid to lubricate the lever. Otherwise, you may have to replace the solenoid or pump assembly. With these systems, the motor always rotates in one direction. When it's energized, the drain valve diverts the water.

Other dishwashers simply reverse the direction of the motor to drain the dishwasher. These units don't have a drain valve. Instead, there's a drain hose connected directly to the pump housing.

Belt One brand of dishwasher uses a belt to drive the pump. If this belt is broken or has fallen off, replace it.

Motor If the motor isn't turning or working, the unit won't drain. First check to be sure you have power to the dishwasher. If not, see the section "It doesn't work at all." If the motor hums but doesn't turn, it may need to be replaced.

Some dishwashers are susceptible to getting stuck if you don't run them regularly. If you haven't run the dishwasher for more than a week, you may need to manually spin the motor to free it up. If the motor is defective, you need to replace it. Dishwasher motors can't be serviced.

Timer Part of what the timer does is control the motor and drain valve. If the timer doesn't work properly, the water may not drain and you need to replace the timer. This problem is uncommon.

Let me know, if need further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Replace the water drain assembly! no power display but I can hear the water drain pump

If your refrigerator is not displaying power, but you can hear the water drain pump running, the issue may be related to the water drain assembly. Here are a few steps you can try to replace the water drain assembly:
  1. Unplug the refrigerator from the power source.
  2. Locate the water drain assembly. It is typically located at the bottom of the refrigerator near the back.
  3. Drain any remaining water from the assembly by disconnecting the drain hose.
  4. Remove the old water drain assembly by unscrewing or unclipping it from the refrigerator.
  5. Install the new water drain assembly by reversing the steps used to remove the old one.
  6. Reconnect the drain hose and plug the refrigerator back in.
It is important to refer to the manufacturer's manual for specific instructions on how to replace the water drain assembly on your refrigerator, as the process may vary depending on the model and design.
It is also important to note that this may not solve the problem of no power display, it might be related to other electronic or electrical issues, like a blown fuse or a malfunctioning control board. It's better to contact a professional technician to diagnose and fix the issue.

Miele G843SCVI+ Won't Drain, But Restarting the Cycle Will Drain then Fill Up Again

Anytime a cycle is interrupted and a new cycle is selected, the dishwasher will start by draining water first. This is so any water that was accidentally spilled while loading the dishwasher is drained or in your case, water that was left over from the last cycle. When draining problems occur, the dishwasher will drain some water but not all. The timer only allows about 60 seconds for water to discharge. It will not accommodate for a clog.

The most common reason why a dishwasher wont completely drain water is a clog at the end of the discharge hose where the disposal and hose meet. If this should happen, clear the clog and replace entire
hose. A clog can happen inside the dishwasher as well.

How do I drain the water tank

Anon, Make sure gas or breaker(power) is turned off to the Heater so it will not come on during draining, connect a hose onto bottom valve of water heater, run hose to a floor drain and insert, turn your water main off so as not to fill tank while draining, open water heater drain valve, water will then drain from attached hose into floor drain until empty. For water to run faster you may open a near by hot water tap, this will allow air into tank as you drain it, do not forget to turn this tap off before refilling tank. You then can turn main back on for a bit if you would like to do a flush of sediment from the bottom of tank.

My dishwsaher wont drain water

Two things to consider....clean water or dirty water?

Clean water usually indicates the fill valve is not shutting off all the way and the fill valve is "weeping" water in all the time = new fill valve time!!

Dirty water usually is not a dishwasher problem but more of a plumbing issue. Often the sink drain that carries the sinks water outside is not fast enough and some of this sink water is backing up into the drain hose and filling up the dishwasher through the drain hose. The drain from the sink to outside needs attention as this type of a problem indicates a slow house drain for that sink.

The dishwasher drain line should be clamped to the top underneath part of the counter before entering the sink drain plumbing, this may help the water from coming back inside the dishwasher.

Water puddles front left of side by side ge profile fridge

If you clear the drain, the water will not fill up again. (try hot, but not boiling, water, forced into the drain hole with a turkey baster) When drain is clear, water will run into the drain pan located near the compressor. The fan will cause that water to evaporate.
