Re: vx revolution installation

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

Hi there,
There are a number of reasons why your mouse isn't reponding:
  1. Check that the batteries are full
  2. Check that the mouse is synchronised with the adapter
  3. Check you have the correct drivers installed.
If none of these things help you, then if your mouse is still under warranty, I'd ask for another one.
Good luck! John

My VX revolution is missing too much left clicks. Sometimes I need to click 5 times to get 1 click. All the others buttons are working fine. How I can fix this? thks

Seems that the left mouse button needs to be replaced. If you have an old mouse, you can use it as a source of a spare mouse button, & replace the defective button on your VX Revolution.
However, you need to make sure that:
1. The replacement button is identical to the defective one.
2. You have enough skills to solder/desolder electronic components.

Regarding the VX revolution mouse

Hi. Partial / Potential solution:
I think there are screws holding the mouse together, and that they are located under the 'plastic' pads on the bottom of the mouse. On mine, the pad directly behind where the battery goes (towards the 'tail' of the mouse / palm of hand) popped off easily to reveal a screw that came out easily enough. The other pads are stickier, tho, so for me it's not worth trying to mess with them now. If it gets worse, I'll take them off and see what's to see. If yours is pretty bad, it might be worth it. Cheers...

VX Revolution Cordless Mouse for Notebooks dead as a door nail...

I see no reason that the mouse should not work. They have the Xop driver and the install software. Download both and also read henote that they are talking about in. red. I didn not download it myself. If this doesn't work you can get a common PS 2 mouse for a small amount  most anywhere including Walmart.,en?softwareid=4338&osid=1
