SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I don't know what is the operating system you are using with your computer.Still we can check, first we need to find out if the problem is with the speaker or with the computer.

Try these steps
  • connect those speakers with other computer check the sound, if you are getting sound there it means speakers are ok need to check computer audio setup and hardware.
  • If you are not getting any sound connecting speakers with other computer then it is speakers need to replace.

Incase speakers are ok Disconnect the speakers

  • restart the computer, check if there is windows sound if not
  • right click on the volume control icon on the left hand button corner of the screen, uncheck the mute option.still not getting any sound?
  • try to download the audio driver from the dell support site.still not getting
  • need to check the internal speaker connection,if it is fine
  • go to this website http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and click on Restore sound -windows Audio service and run the tweak,YOU NEED TO USE INTERNET EXPLORER
  • still you cannot hear the sound change the internal speaker.

Couldn't hear any sound from the speaker

Hello,

Please check first whether power is there in speakers or not? If speakers are okay then please go to control panel and click on sound devices. If the properties are coming faded ,this means the sound driver is not installed.
Check the sound driver needed for your computer or publish the model no.,make of the computer and the issue will be resolved.

Thanks

Hello ... i weak in English language I have HP Compaq nc8230 windows xp sp2 professional ..... ok I watch video very good .. after it No sound in speaker but headset is ok how i can fix this problem

If you can hear sound through the headset, you should be able to hear it through the speakers. One thing to try is go to the control panel and make sure your sound is not muted. Also, you might have sound controls on the keyboard--be sure the sound is not turned down too low.
If all the settings are OK, then it is possible your speaker wire has come loose from the motherboard.

Thinkpad T41 with XP-sp3: No sound / working fine until yesterday

Hi. Try plugging in an external speaker just to test the issue. It could be just the speaker of the laptop is having the problem. If you were able to hear the sound from the external speaker then the problem is the built in speaker of the computer. If there is no sound coming out to external speakers. Try to reinstall the driver of your soundcard.

Check the sound is not muted. (Click on speaker icon at the bottom right of your screen. Move the slider all the up with your mouse. Ensure the small box is cleared)
Also, right click on computer on the start menu and select hardware tab, and open the device manager. Look for sound device and right click on that. Check the drivers are ok for the sound chip you have. You may go to the Acer website if you can, locate support for your model and download and install fresh drivers for your OS if they can be found. Reply here if you try that and don't know how.
You may try an external speaker / headphones connected to appropriate socket on the back of your computer if it's a desktop. If you hear sound it might be that the internal speaker has gone wrong (does your computer give one beep when you turn it on ? this is telling you most things are ok including your sound system. Open a cmd window and type 'beep' the computer should beep I think)

there are many other things it might be, and more if you don't have the as-purchased set-up, but that's enough for now

Left speaker gives no sound

There could already be a problem with the speaker jack, if only one channel is consistently giving no sound on your system.

Try turning the male (connected to speaker wire) jack and you might hear a static crackle while doing this. If you get both channels to produce sound this way, you already have a failing audio jack, and may need replacement later on.

Hope this helps.
