On startup tv resets 3-4 times before light comes on.

Have you tried unplugging the TV for an hour or so? This should allow any transient memory todecay. If this doesn't work I think that you should contact vizio customer support.

if the screen isent on then you will have to reset the tv take out any wiress and the main plug leave the tv 3 days do not plug in any sooner as this will not be a reset ok it has to be 3 days the time you unplug to the time putting it back in ok hope this helped

try to hold down the power button for 10-15 seconds on startup.. it will automatically reset the display settings, and force your ps3 to startup in a very low resolution that all tv´s is able to show.. dunno if this helps?.....

Check capacitors cp150 ,114, 120 ,if cp150 is puffed up on top it is bad.2200uf 16v and the other 2 are 220uf 35v.

The CLS problem. Im thinking that at least you made a visual inspection of the power suply and the capacitors around it. Then if everything normal in the area then the microdisplay (inside the ligth engine) can be damaged. (when the tv is working normally the microdisplay sends a pulse to turn on ballast and lamp finally.

The sweetkyman: when the fan is bad th tv shuts down imm. (if you unplug the fan when the tv is working normal the computer detects the overcurrent system works and shuts down the set) when a fan is all dirty and tons of dust on it the tv tends to work but after some hours the tv shuts down.

Try getting a new AV Option, well actually first startup your PS3, startup your controller, and hit the center PS3 button, because those 2 options are only in the Main PS3 Option, which is accesed and closed through hitting the middle button on your controller. Hope this helped.

If you replace the lamp and need to reset the Lamp Timer Reset procedure is: With The Set In Standby Press Display, 5, Vol Up, Power on the remote control Press Jump 3. Or, To Display The Lamp Time Press 2 Nine Times. To Reset Press 3, Mute, Enter. One of these should work on your model. Make sure you replace the bulb first. There is a possibility that the ballast could be damaged by a defective bulb as well.
