Try reseting the router and connecting to it thru an ethernet cable and entering in the default password of admin then reset your wireless internet settings and you should be back online with it

You can try to change the browser settings.

2. Click Internet Options
3. Click on the Security Tab, then under security level for this zone , set it to medium or low. Hit apply

It seems that teh password has been changed. If you dont remember the password, the router needs to be reset to factory defaults.

What should I do when 401 unauthorized is happened?does it have any relationship with my modem? best Regards

401 error: Generally this error message means you need to log on (enter a valid user ID and password) somewhere first. If you have just entered these and then immediately see a 401 error, it means that one or both of your user ID and password were invalid for whatever reason (entered incorrectly, user ID suspended etc.).

Are you trying to access your modem's gui?

Will not let me secure the router

Are you sure that the password is blank? I believe the default password for d-link is "password"

If that doesn't work you will need to do a factory reset with a paper clip pushed into the reset button for 15sec and then try logging in again

Hope this helps

I have tried to secure my wireless but when I try to enter number 192.168.0.1into the browser the response is 401 unauthorized. How do I fix this problem?

it probably means the router is not correctly connected check to see if there is a line from the modem going to the WAN port and that there is a cable from the laptop/computer in the 1/2/3/4 LAN connection port then try again.
