Behind the pressure control knob is a releif valve, take it out, put some oring grease around the orings, place back in. make shure you put it all the way down and it seats back in then try again. failing that a small pebble might be stuck under a valve. then its just a clean, make sure you have a water filter on the inlet and its clean

I have a tractor pto driven air compressor and when it gets close to the cut off pressure of 120 psi the cylinder stroke slows way down and over a period of time running it, it will push oil out the oil...

The rings are the most likely by your description. As the air pressure builds up more air goes past the rings and pressurizes the crankcase and probably causing the oil to foam. Rust pits and cylinder scoring exacerbates the problem.
First try changing the oil and make sure the crankcase breather is open and baffles clean. Make sure you use compressor oil that is formulated to minimize foaming.
Second, try adjusting the unloader to a lower pressure. 120 PSI is nearing the upper limits of efficiency and sealing for a single stage industrial compressor. Something like 110 PSI may do the trick.
Third solution is to rebuild it, but it may last for many years at a slightly lower pressure.

I have a 3000 psi campbell hausfeld gas pressure washer and it has no pressue how can i fix it

Small stream sounds like your pump is not working at all - you are getting house pressure only. First check the intake fitting where you attach the hose for debris that may be clogging the water flow. Same for the pressure hose and quick connect fittings. Remove the tip from the wand and see how much flow you get. If it's still only a small amount, with the motor running, you probably have a bad pump. This can be caused by bad seals inside the pump, or by running the motor without maintaining water supply to the pump, which can melt the seals or even seize the pump if allowed for too long. Repairing the pump is typically more work and expense than replacing it, assuming you can locate a replacement pump.

My car is a 2000 vtech honda civic. Engine light stays on even after I took the car to the mechanic and changed the oxygen sensor, which they said was the problem. I took it to another place and I am...

TELL ME WHAT CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CODE YOU ARE GETTING.CODE SCAN AND TELL ME WHAT CODE YOU ARE GETTING.MOST VTECH ENGINE HAS PROBLEM WITH VTEC SOLENOID OR VTEC OIL PRESSURE SWITCH.MOST TIME CHECK THE OIL PRESSURE BY REMOVING VTEC OIL PRESSURE SWITCH FROM THE LOCK UP SOLENOID AND CONNECT AN ADAPTER BETWEEN THE SWITCH AND THE SOLENOID. BUT I CANT SAY ITS YOUR VTEC SYSTEM UNTIL YOU CODE SCAN CAR.OIL PRESSURE SHOULD BE 50 PSI @ 3000 RPM OR 85 PSI @3000 RPM.

Oil milky white in pump

it may have a slow water leak inside the pump.
change oil and monitor the new oil.
if it goes milky the next time you use it then it has a bad leak and the seals will need to be
replaced, otherwise the bearings will rust & seize

I have a powerboss 3000 psi washer. The engine is running but it is not building pressure.

you may have a bad by-pass pressure control valve. The pump may also have bad seals inside. You can replace the pump but it is very expensive. You can buy a rebuild kit and a new by-pass control at a local supplier.Be careful not to let the motor run more than 30 to 60 seconds after you let go of the trigger. The water in the pump will get extremely hot and destroy your pump.

Karcher G 3000 BH Engine Pumping Problem

This may not be a motor problem. It sounds like your pump is not working properly and the motor is just following the pump. First thing to do is check for leaks in the pump, wand hose, gun etc. It may also be a blown water seal inside the pump.

How do you utilize the air pressure control knob.

Most air pressure regulator knobs work like a "child-proof" cap on a medicine vial.  It has a spring inside that keeps it dis-engaged from the tooth like gears inside.  To turn the knob you must first pull out or push in the knob.  You should feel some resistance from the spring inside.  As you pull, you will feel the knob seat into the "teeth" inside.  Then you can turn the knob and change the air pressure supplied.   Note:  most air regulator valves work in the opposite manner of regular water valves.  Turning the knob clockwise should increase the air pressure... counter clockwise should decrease the pressure.       I hope this solution will bring you success.   Best Regards,  Michael Mittelsdorf

Scuba HP pressure gauge has air bubble inside. Can I fill with kerosine?

Pressure gauges are sealed and should not ever get bubbles in them. If there's air in the gauge, there's some possibility the Bourdon tube has a crack in it. You will spend more time dinking around with getting a bubble out and resealing the gauge than the instrument is worth. The pressure gauges on a fill station are industry standard parts and you can buy replacements off the shelf. They're not terribly expensive. Replace it.
