refrigator compartment not cooling , we re-set the temperature control to 37 has required , due to it had gone up to 50 , but instead of going down to 37 , it keep on going up and now is 54... Want could be causing this problem
This is a sign of a defrost problem or the damper is not opening from the freezer compartment. Look inside the rear of your freezer rear wall and see if frost is building up on the rear panel. If yes then unplug the refrigerator and remove the freezer rear panel to defrost the evaporator coils so you will be able to see the defrost heater under the evaporator. If burned out it will be easy to see because the outer case is glass covering the element that is inside. Let me know what you find and I will assist you in your repair, Thanks Sea Breeze

I have a GE Fridge model number GTS18WC and the drain line is clogged. I removed the panel in the back and have tried to use hair dryer to thaw the ice out of the drain hole. Stuck a coat hanger up the p trap from the bottom and nothing. My ice maker also does not fill up with water. I ohmed out the valve for it and it seems ok. What is going on with my Fridge??
