Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer
I have a Kenmore 60 series and when my washer is filling for the first time it does not stop and it will keep going and overflow unless you are standing there watching it. Can someone please tell me what the heck the problem is?
The water level is controlled by the pressure switch which is located behind the load level selector knob on the control panel. Before assuming you have a defective pressure switch, however, read the following link:
In many cases the small air hose comes loose from the pressure switch and causes the symptoms you are experiencing. Check the air hose to ensure it is still attached to the pressure switch and check the electrical connections to ensure they are not corroded.
