Dial *22899 and press SEND to program the phone.
after it has finished downloading the programming information, the phone will reset.
The Lock code will now be set to the last 4 digits of your phone number.
when you have finished, be sure to switch back to NAM1 and dial *22899 again to re-program it.

Stupid code

If you can switch to nam1, that is your active phone number. If its asking for the code first the code will be 000000 or 0000

I was curious and i pressed nam2 on my metropcs settings . and i have my phone on lock when it powers up . now i have no clue what the code is and well I NEAD HELP! Im on vacation and they have no store...

if you have locked yourself out of your samsung cell phonedue to switching to nam2 with the lock on powerup option on, here isyour solution. open the back of your cell phone. there should be ahexidecimal number printed on there(behind the battery) it will be abunch of letters and numbers. its the last number printed. meaning it'son the bottom. open up your windows calculator. you know the one youwould use to help you with math. go to settings or view and switch toscientific. after that make sure you check the little circle that says"hex" after you have imput the number switch the calculator to "dec"for the decimal conversion of the number you have just put in. the lastfour of this number will be your password for your phone. i swear thisworks on any samsung phone. i locked myself out of my 740. it workstrust me if you don't believe me here is the website i got the infoit's the samsung tech support page

I have a sch U740 samsung phone nam 1 code

The lock code should be the last 4 digits of your phone number or 0000.

If that doesn't work, perform an activation by dialing *228 send. Then select option 1. After this is complete your phone's lock code should be reset to the last 4 digits of your phone number.

Don't know lock code.samsung sch u740

Below are two known methods for unlocking your phone.

To unlock a Samsung turn the phone off take the sim card and type the following code *#pw+15853649247w#

Master reset(unlock) #*7337# (for the new samsungs E700 x600 but not E710)

Good luck, hope one of those works for your phone. Not 100% guaranteed to work on all models. Thank you for stopping by Fixya!

How to bypass phone 4 digits lock code or how to get the lock code if it wasn't the last 4 gigits of the phone number and I don't know what it is?

If you put your phone on nam2, like i did, you need to call samsung's hotline. customer service can provide you with the nam2 access code. Verizon would make you pay 59.99 to get a reflash to basically do the same thing. samsung's number is on the back of your phone

its in the samsung frequently asked questions. All you do is go to windows calculater turn it to HEX enter the hex number under your batery switch the calculator to dec and the last 4 numbers is the NAM2 code
