too much soap??? a common problem. Really, just use a little. You may have hard water, but the first thing I would do is reduce theamount of detergent or soap you are using.

I would check for a cold water supply problem since cold water is supposed to be what is used in the rinse cycle. If only hot water is being supplied it would explain the suds thing. I would take a look at the water inlet valve and would pay particular attention to the cold water side. Unplug the machine and remove the supply hoses. Check the small metal screens inside the openings on the water inlet valve and make sure they are clear of rust or debris. Next, check the solenoids using a multimeter or ohmmeter and test for continuity. A lack of continuity would indicate a faulty solenoid and the water inlet valve assy will need to be replaced. I will attach a photo for reference. Really sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Why doesn't my washing machine fill with enough water to wash my clothes properly any more

Unplug the washer for 10 minutes and let the board reset. If it still is not filling correctly, then the pressure switch or load size switch is faulty. Appliance Parts Suppliers sells Samsung Parts in Bolingbrook, IL sells samsung parts.

Spinning cycle

Keeping in mind that the soap & bleach gets dispensed into your wash on the second to last rinse cycle and that most all rinse cycles are in cold water. Is your cold water valve screen plugged causing your washer to rinse poorly? Are you using the HE detergent? If not maybe the washer is sudsing up to much and having a hard time rinsing all the suds and bleach out and leaving the clothes soapy.

Fill the washer up with no clothes in it on a cold/cold wash setting does it take a long time to fill the washer up? Also when it is full and agitating is there suds in the washer?

Last suggestion is if the drain is hose is a lot higher than the top of the washer it might have a hard time draining out all of the soap water before the next load

The door won't open after a cycle...and all the clothes are soaking wet..even after 2 spin cycles it still has a lot of (soapy) water at the bottom..Help!!

the most common problem is a blocked or restricted drain pump. You can use a wet/dry Shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hose to remove all the water.
Once the water is removed then your door should unlck and you can remove all the clothes.
after that you need to look at your drain pump remove the hoses be sure to check the hose that comes down from the bottom of the tub to the drain pump and look for any obstruction also check your drain pump inside there could be something stuck in it.

I have a Kenmore Elite HE3 Tearing holes in my clothes

Are you using HE ( high efficiency ) detergent?

If you are using regular detergent the machine may be sensing all those bubbles and may be working longer to get rid of them.

Try using a net/lingerie bag for delicate clothes.

This type of washing machine works by sensing when the clothes are saturated then it will start to tumble back and forth, and it will continually drain out the dirty soapy water and bring in clean soapy water, then spin out and go into the rinse cycle..

It's all done by the machine sensing when it's time to go to the next cycle.

I am wondering if you are maybe using too much detergent.. Only use the max of 3 tablespoons of HE detergent if you have hard water and 1 tablespoon if you have soft water.

Hope this helps.

Clothes washer makes big noise after wash cycle

sounds as though you have a blockage in the pump/hose system stopping the water from getting out quick enough. check the filter out first.

Kenmore washer series 80, Clothes still soapy

If you are getting no water spray during the rinse cycle that would cause the soapy clothes issue.

Are you getting cold water during the wash/rinse cycles? If you have the machine set to warm/warm you may only be getting hot water while the final spin is calling for cold.

If you have cold water available then the timer is not calling for the water spray. The problem is either in the mixing valve or the timer.
