I cant log on to the internet on my other computer it tells me minimal or no connection

Not sure of much detail on what you're trying to log into but most applications have a option for forgot password or forgot screen name. Check with the website that you are dealing with to see if you can contact them to get your password reset.

Shut your computer down and turn it back on (not restart, turn it off) while its coming on, rapidly hit the F8 button until the black screen with the white font appears. Stop hitting F8, and select Safe Mode. The computer will start up with the minimal functions to operate. Now, run your antivirus program, what ever it may be. When it's done, shut the computer off and turn it back on, unless the computer tells you to restart. Then try to log in again.

1) if you cant log-in to your computer then you have to call your computer support number so that they will be able to reset the computer log-in details.

2) if you cant log-in to your email or to other application, all you have to do is to reset your password.

3) if you cant log-in to your network / internet, try check on where your computer is trying to connect.

try these steps first, if this won't work just send us a question again.

try to check your internet connection

To me it sounds like you are hooking your PS3 through a computer to the internet. If so there is an easy fix for your problem. On your computer open Control Panel, and then open Network Connections. Right-Click on your internet connection and select properties, then on the top tab select Advance. This will open up your network sharing. In the box that says (Internet Connection Sharing), check the box that says (Allow other network users to connect through this computer's connection) click OK. Once you do this it will promt you with a message that some modifications made will not take place till the connection is reset. Then just log off the internet and re-log back on. Then proceed to start your PS3 and redo the internet connection settings on the PS3.

Javascript is turned off. Turn it on by going to tools > internet options and checking the box that says enable javascript.

Most of DSL modems are connected to PC with USB cable...
n if ur server is connected with other pc on lan .. you can use internet sharing option available in winxp.

1. Log on to the host computer as Administrator or as Owner.
2. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
3. Click Network and Internet Connections.
4. Click Network Connections.
5. Right-click the connection that you use to connect to the Internet. For example, if you connect to the Internet by using a modem, right-click the connection that you want under Dial-up.
6. Click Properties.
7. Click the Advanced tab.
8. Under Internet Connection Sharing, select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection check box.
9. If you are sharing a dial-up Internet connection, select the Establish a dial-up connection whenever a computer on my network attempts to access the Internet check box if you want to permit your computer to automatically connect to the Internet.
10. Click OK. You receive the following message: When Internet Connection Sharing is enabled, your LAN adapter will be set to use IP
    address 192.168.0.1. Your computer may lose connectivity with other computers on
    your network. If these other computers have static IP addresses, it is a good idea to set them
    to obtain their IP addresses automatically. Are you sure you want to enable Internet
    Connection Sharing?
11. Click Yes.

The connection to the Internet is shared to other computers on the local area network (LAN). The network adapter that is connected to the LAN is configured with a static IP address of 192.168.0.1 and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0

the way you explain this problem sounds like you just logged onto which ever connection you found! did you or afamily member set up a commection using belkin54g?

back to basics!
in order to connect to the net with any device...PC (if you dont have a pc how did you send this post?)...Wii PS3 first you need to install and connect to your own internet connection device i.e.ASDL Broadband rooter..call it what you want

lol it sounds like you've been useing your next door neighbour's unsecured internet connection...nice cheap way to get connected.....but a bit of a bummer when text door go on holiday
i suggest setting up your own rooter (withyour own password)

there is a need to reconfigure your router to work with your modem. If configured already before, then there is great chance that this has been set back to factory default.
