Question about Honeywell Programmable Thermostat Heater

My touchscreen for visionpro 8000 worked a couple of days ago and tonight nothing. It is not lock...it won't respond to anything. Do I need a new one?

I have had a few lockup, if you have removed power for 5min and reset, you need a new one

Why is screen showing EE and will not respond to touch?


The replacement batteries could be defective or installed incorrectly. Also, the thermostat could have been reinstalled incorrectly after battery replacement.

Is there a battery in the t8000c thermostat the screen is blank


There should be a couple of AAA batts in it. Grab all 4 corners and pull straight out & off the mounting plate. If no batteries are installed it is hard wired & the problem is at the air handler(blown blade fuse or open transformer winding). When you reinstall batteries make sure there is no corrosion. And careful when you put the tstat back onto the base. There are some small pins that need to align with its holes/terminals. Honeywell has a great 1-800 support #. Should be on the tstat.

Why is my honeywell 8320r1003 short cycling for hot water heat.I have heat set at 65 degress.cycling 2min,3min,the most is 8min.


Hi Bill, after closing your thermostat, is this correct the situation?
And how far is your thermostat from your baseboard heater, if the baseboard is underneath the stat, you should move the stat elsewhere. Hope this help you find the problem.

Our visionpro 8000 thermostat has adjusted its day. It is currently one day ahead. We have misplaced our manual and we cannot seem to get the day to change. Suggestions?

Particular areas on my Blackberry Storm 9350 touchscreen do not respond to touch (cannot highlight or press). Also, every couple of days, the entire touchscreen will not respond and i have to 'cold boot'...


Hi, The screen of a BlackBerry Storm smartphone appears to be easily scratched or has air bubbles.So the BlackBerry Storm smartphone does not respond consistently to finger touches or slides.
This issue could be because one of the following reasons:
1) The clear plastic screen overlay that is placed on the BlackBerry Storm smartphone during the manufacturing process to protect the screen during shipping has not been removed.
2) A purchased plastic screen protector has been placed onto the BlackBerry Storm smartphone.

Honeywell VisionPro 8000 cycles between Hot and Cold all day.


yes it sound like either they wired it wrong or when theywent and configured the settings this obe did not take to the configuration correctly. Have the contractor come back and do the job correctly or replace the thermostat. Thinks for using Fixya

Treo600 Touchscreen doesn't respond.....


Try running a piece of paper around the edge of the screen. There may be was something stuck in there, pressing the screen slightly and causing it to not respond to the stylus
