Question about Magic Chef CYE4000AWW Electric Dryer
If you have no power at all then ther is a thermal fuse that has gone bad.you need to lift the lid look in the rear for the heating element just to the right of the heating element.about three inches down the side of the can there should be two white wires going to the thermal fuse that is bad.
in order to check this with out a multimeter you can connect the wire together for a moment and start you dryer and it should get hot and start.the part number is LA-1053 that you can get from your local parts store.
let me know how this goes for you there are a couple of other problems but this is the first thing i would check the other two items are a bad door switch and a bad start button/timer
