Question about Sony Ericsson W550i Cellular Phone

Internet connexion my sony erricson w950i will not let me browse the internet or send mms. It will let me go on the start page of the internet but will not let me onto another page. every time i try it says connexion closed by remote server. ive rang o2 customer service n they gave me the settings but it still not working. please help me !!

U have to go on full fectory setting
after that again save setting ok
if it is not working the u have to cocernt again service provider

In the settings of the internet we choose (wap) or (mms)

I would choose "WAP" because this will give you a better browsing experience.

Restore WAP, 3G, MMS Settings | Sony Ericsson Phones

Many people are having problems configuring their phones after de-branding or after flashing it. Usually after de-branding your phone you lose all the WAP, Internet, MMS settings from the phone. And you won't be able to send MMS or browse Internet.
For MMS and WAP to function properly, you should first create Data Accounts in Phone Settings and Then create Internet Profile and MMS profiles which make use of the Data Account. For manually creating these accounts and profiles you will need a lot of technical information from your CellPhone Service Provider. You will need to know the APN, Proxy Address if any, Username and password settings. Hence the idea of manually setting up is not recommended, unless you have spare time to figure out things.

You can directly download WAP and MMS settings for your phone from local Sony Ericsson Website. Visit In support section specific to your country, you will find links on how to configure Internet and MMS. Visit those links, You will be asked about phone model and operator name ( like Vodafone, Airtel in list), Select your operator and provide your cell phone number. You will be given a authorization code, and in a few minutes Sony Ericsson will send you the Internet/MMS settings directly to your phone. Enter the authorization code in your phone. And MMS, WAP, 3G and Internet settings will be installed correctly. All operator based services should then work fine.

My mobile in hanking continously and mms is not received properly.

Test if your new device needs settings for sending multimedia messages (MMS) and browsing the Internet.
Note: Before beginning, please verify with your operator or service provider that MMS and/or browsing are included in your service package.
Step 1: Test to see if your device needs MMS settings
If your Nokia device has a camera, take a picture and send it to your own number. Wait a moment to see if it arrives.
* If you receive the message, your MMS settings are fine. Move on to step 2.
* If the sending fails, skip to step 3.
Step 2: Test to see if your device needs mobile browsing settings
Press the zero key of your Nokia device for three seconds.
* If your device connects to your operator site or any other home page, you have the settings. You don't need to download settings - just start browsing and messaging!
* If you receive an error message, move on to step 3.
Step 3: Get settings from the Settings Wizard
In case you have the Settings Wizard on your device, follow the next steps, otherwise move on to step 4:
* On the phone press the Menu key.
* Scroll to and select Tools. (Note: The location of the Settings Wizard varies according to device)
* Scroll to and select Sett. wizard to launch the Nokia Settings Wizard.
* Scroll to and select Operator.
* Follow the wizard's on screen steps to automatically configure the phone with the required operator service settings.
* Repeat step 1 and 2 above to verify that the settings are now working correctly.
If you experience further problems, move on to step 4.
Step 4: How to get settings from your Operator
Please contact your operator or service provider directly or via their internet pages for the settings.

if you have picture messages in your plan you could call your carrier and they could send signal to your phone idk if your carrier requires you to have internet coz some do...

Purchased unlocked Sony Ericsson K800i can't use MMS

contact at 516-378-3711. ask to speak to Mark. he should be able to send you programming over-the-air to your phone. the phone needs to be configured to t-mobile. they are a t-mobile dealer and repair shop ill do it for you for no charge.

it will be setup for picture messaging, mms, web browsing, and t-zones

call monday thru friday 12-6pm if im not in leave a message and the phone # of the phone you need to setup.

Hi Fanns!!!

Dont know so much about Airtel Network but my idea is that u erase all the MMS settings in ur phone and ask the good ppl of Airtel to send u some NEW MMS setting. U will get about 2 or maybe 3 SMS and 1 of them has the setting...the software will ask u to install. Do so and after that, turn ur phone of for about 1 minute. Try then sending 1 MMS to urself, so u can see if it works or not.
If Nothing of this works, go with ur phone to the nearest Cellphone shop and ask them for help.
