How do i reinstall the 2 clips that hold the machine to the back pannel

Assuming that this is a basic Kenmore / Whirlpool top load.

Looking at the clip from the side there are two hooks. One goes into slots in the washer back and the other snaps into the cabinet.

Starting with both tabs on the clip facing up, the tab with the longer end hooks into the back. The shorter end lays on top of the holes in the cabinet.

Smacking the clip down seats it in the cabinet. It will only go in one way.

Removing lid lock switch on cabrio washer


Hi
To get to the lid lock you must raise the cover To raise the top you unscrew the top screws in the back, ( the ones that hold the smaller galvanized piece of sheet metal behind the control panel). There is also two clips on the sides of the back with 2 screws in each, remove the top ones. You should be able to slide the cover forward while lifting. It will hinge on the 2 clips. Then prop the cover to keep it open. Under the cover are 2 screws that hold on the latch. Under the cover towards the back there are 2 spring clips that hold down the top user control panel. Squeeze them to release the panel. Follow the wire from the latch to the motor control module and unplug the plug. Remove the latch. Reverse to reinstall a new one.

Rear passanger window fell off track


First you need to remove the door panel, which usually is just a few philip head screws or 10 mm socket sizedbut before you try pulling if your car has a tweeter/audio on a corner of the window make sure sure you remove that first very carefully you don't want to force since it is only held by its on clips... Then once you are ready to remove the door panel start by inserting a flat head screw driver in between the metal and the plastic pannel.

Then star opening it in a uniform manner only start opening from side till you open it since it has a bunch of plastic clips going all around the pannel to hold it on the metal.

once it is open you might need a rachet, a 10mm or 12mm socket and an extension for thet rachet.
Look for about 2-3 round holes enough to fit the socket in connect the power and psition the screwns of the control arm holding the glass and lossen the screws so tha glass can be pulled out its better and recommended to be done by two persons one holding the glass and one removing the screws.and then when the glass is pulled out all the way out is easier to re-aling it and as well one person pushes down and holds the glass the othe one makes sure from the insid panel area that the glass is going on its channel/u shaper rubber all the way....sets the screws back of once is well positioned start tightening the screws back on...and test it with the swich once is done, if stays in the track it means that you succeeded and your control arm is in good working condition and as boost up put some kind of lube on its track from up to down....And if it comes off the track againg you might need to replace the control arm which is that piece that holds the glass with the screws on it...

and to star putting the door pannel back on start by aligning it on the top , make sure that that ruber that keeps touching the glass gets in all the way and then just make sure that all the clips holding the pannel are all attached to the pannel and so just start pushing the pannel against the metal and it shoul clip once is well positioned.then just put the screws you took off the pannel and you should be don....don't forget to carfully clip back the and connect the tweeter window if has one....and voilah...you're done.

How do i open up the front of the dryer to repair igniter


On this model, the burner assembly is located in the back left corner. You can access it by removing the back pannel. To remove the front pannel you can lift the front of the top pannel and remove the two screws that hold the front to the sides. Keep in mind the top is held by plastic locks and clips, so be gentle but forceful. Also, the from holds the spring assembly for the door.

Water leaking from machine after cycle is over


Sounds like the pump is leaking. Tilt the machine back and put two 2x4s under the front legs. Shine a light under the machine and use a mirror to see where the water is coming from.
To change the pump:
  1. Remove the two screws at the front right and left corners of the control panel. Tilt the panel back. Remove the 3 wire harness plug and the two gold clips on the right and left of the cabinet holding the cabinet to the back panel.
  2. Tilt the cabinet forward and remove cabinet.
  3. Locate the pump and remove the two hose clamps and the two clamps holding the pump to the front of the motor. Remove the pump.
  4. Install the new pump
  5. Reinstall the two hose clamps and the two clips holding the pump on.
  6. Reinstall the cabinet, the three wire harness plug and the two gold clips holding the cabinet to the rear panel.
  7. Tilt the control panel down and reinstall the two screws on each corner.
Your ready to do some more laundry.

Will fill up with water but will not spin and just makes a buzzing noise?


there are two possible problems one the lid switch might be broken there is a small tab front right corner of lid that goes down into a hole to operate the switch which i beleive is still good because you can hear the moter hum there is a drive coupling between the moter and transmission if you lean the machine back you will find black rubber debries in the middle toward the front of machine before taking apart unplug from power the pump has two clips that hold it on top of moter there are two screws in two clips that hold the moter to a metal plate next to transmission the wiring harness plugs in to side of moter the drive coupling can be worked off gently with a wide screw driver from moter and transmission each plastic piece has three
pins that line up and fit into a hard black
rubber center the trick is lining it back up and clipping the metal supports back on moter i normally clip the top one back on first gravity assist with correct placement of moter to reinstal bottom clip reattach wiring harness two screws in moter clips reinstall pump will probably have to turn moter shaft to align with pump reinstall pump clips

My washer is making a lound noise in the spin mode


You have a bad coupling , which connects the motor to the transmission . Without the model number , I cannot tell you how to access this piece . It is easily replaceable . Only 2 screws ( or clips ) to flip the console back , 2 clips , 1 plug holding the outer cabinet on , 2 clips hold the pump on , 2 clips ( held on by 2 screws ) hold the motor on . Remove the motor , and pry the coupling off . Off the transmission also . Use a hammer and socket to reinstall the coupling to the motor and transmission , line up the rubber piece , and reinstall .

How do you remove the door panel on the drivers side?


Pull back (or pry a bit) on the edges of the pannel.. You will see where the tenssion clips are holding it on.. At the location of each clip - give the pannel a quick pull.. The clips will pop out.. Be careful because the clips have to go back in - with a hit via rubber mallet..

We washed a small rug and we got an E-20 code. what should we do, its having problems draining!


Drain pump screen is clogged. If its makeing a bad grinding sound the pump will need to be replaced. Otherwise disasembly of the machine is required to access pump area to clean out screen. Dextrous people can probaly do this from the back or underneath unit. Its difficult and I don't recomend it to beginers or people who arn't handy. Easiest/prefered method: (This is the one I use.)

Method A units that have a bottom access panel. ie: front panel not one seamless peice.

-unplug unit
-lean back against wall for easy access.
-remove two #2 square screws form access panel.
-Loosen clamp holding hose to tub. (Big black one around 2" in diameter.)
-remove and clean screen.
-reassemble machine and test pump operation.

Method B units the have seamless front panel.

-unplug unit
-remove top. 3 screws @ back, slide top away from machine to remove.
-remove 2 screws holding console onto chasis.
-remove disp
-remove 3 screws @ and behind disp area.
-Remove console. ( tab may be holding to front panel @ middle bottom use putty knife to pry up.)
-remove 4 screws holding front pannel @ top to chasis.
-remove 2 screws holding frong pannel to chasis inside machine. Acess from top. (some models only.)
-remove bottom screws either 4 or 2 usally 4.
-remove two screws holding door lock to front panel
-remove spring from around bellow.
-remove bellow from front pannel
-remove front pannel. Tilts forward and lifts up off supports. (some models only.) or pannel ifs up and off from white tabs in side of chasis.
-unhook wires to door lock from front pannel. (plastic molex tab)
-may now access pump like in method A.

Pump Replacement
-access pump area
-remove drain hose to pump by looseing clamp and pulling off.
-remove hose to tub by losseing clamp and pulling off.
-remove power connection at back left of pump.
-unscrew two philips screws holding pump too base plate. (only one is really required.)
-replace pump
-clean pump screen or add one if not present.
-reconnect hoses.
-replug in power
-reassemble machine
-test pump operation

I need to replace the seal round the door but cannot remove the old one


Take the top panel off by removing the two screws underneath the lid at the rear and look down inside towards the front door edge of the drum you will see a very large metal hose clips holds the door seal on. A screwdriver will loosen the clip then the clip will slip off and then the seal can be removed and replaced

Need to reinstall Clutch Clip


hold the cluch up on shaft,,put clip into grove on buttom of shaft hold clutch up with clip pressure now your hands are free ,,but clutch clip is not on all the way yet ..now here is where the problem lies,,get a nut driver and a small hammer ..hit the back of the clip sharp and straight ..your not going to get it the first time but i know you will get it on..the trick is to push the clip on with your hand first to hold clutch and free your hands to knock the clip on..onthejob
