Dead no power.. checked main fuse, worked fine last night, went to turn it on today and nothing. its a sx-316 not sx-315, I say this because it tells me this is not a valid model#, but sx316 is printed on the front and on the back sticker

I get 120AC to the main relay but no voltage on the low side, main relay is not clicking in.

No power going into the primary side of the main transformer.

This radio is about 4-5 years old looks new from inside and out, I used it everyday with the TV, but never ran maxed out,,,, mostly at about 30-50% volume.

The Pioneer sx-316-5 has a protect mode.if it will not power on from the power stand by button and you tried un plugging the unit for 60 seconds then try this-with the unit plugged in and in stand by mode push the enter and advanced surround buttons at the same time for 2 seconds-you may get power back if your unit was in the protect mode.check all of your connections first to make certin that there is not a disconnected wire or connecter.

Check the resistance of the primary on the main power transformer, (with power off) should be 1-3 ohms. If open you need a new transformer.

If good turn it on and check for ac voltage (120v) there.

RCA P52810lv will not power on

Completely dead with nothing suggests maybe a blown or open fuse--first step would be to unplug and look for a fuse--follow the power cord.

I have a Sharp VC-H982 VCR. Went to turn on today and it is not getting any power. Worked fine last night. I have moved the power cord to a different receptical, still nothing. Is there a fuse that may...

Hi:
If the unit is totally dead meaning no standbye light of or nothing on the display its dark, then you may of blown the AC line fuse. This is the first thing to check the fuse is inside the unit you can trace its location by taking off the top of the VCR and tracing the pwr cord to the point where it connects to the power supply, here is where you will find the AC line fuse use a ohm meter set on continunity to check the fuse for open condintion. If open or blown replace with same voltage and Amperage rating as indicated on the board or the fuse itself. If you find the fuse is good then you have a power supply standbye voltage missing and is related to the power supply. In which case it may be cheaper to just purchase another.

Monitor dead

Check your power cables properly and make sure it is attached. Check your power button, maybe you have pressed the wrong one.

Tv was working fine yesterday. got up today and nothing.

Dear,

can u do repairing or have you ever troubleshoot the issue by yourself.
if yes, then open the cover and check the continuety of the power cable because it can be the damage cable. if all of then check the fuse inside the circuit board where the main power cord goes. the must be a glass fuse. Check is it in working condition means having continuty too.
if this component is ok then u have to check the other circuitry.
