Question about Computers & Internet
I have an old Micron Trek 2 laptop. I haven't used it in a while, so I took it out of storage and plugged it in for a few days to charge the batteries. I cannot get it to turn on. The icons lit up on display are the ac plug icon and batteries A and B (all solid green). The other icon which is lit up is the lightning bolt which is solid amber. Can anyone tell me what this icon means and why I can no longer start this machine up? The machine always worked fine previously.
The lightning bolt is used to indicate an electrical problem but then, you know that already :-( Try removing the battery pack and start it from AC only; some battery types don't like to be ignored, they can have individual shorted cells.
