Kenmore 90 Series Washer has slow spin cycle

My kenmore 90 series 26912 washer model 110.26912691 has a slow spin cycle. It will spin properly when empty but any load causes it to stop. No bearing noise is heard. Please help.

More information on the above problem. Viewed underside when spin cycle NOT spinning, found coupler from motor to be in good shape and spinning. Is there a clutch assembly that could be bad?

Thanks for the help. I took everything apart. Clutch pads looked good. Spring held pads in the break position. When I took the transmission out I noticest that one mounting bolt had worked it's way loose. I figured that maybe the loose bolt had allowed the transmission to drop just enough to cause the problem. Put everything back together and tried a load. It worked!! Only time will tell but seems great now. Thanks for the great help!!!

Thank you. It was a simple fix, but I had the machine in many pieces all across the kitchen floor. Wish I had tightened it before disassembly. Thanks again for your help.

The spin cycle is intermittent on a 10 year old Kenmore 90 Series Washer with model number 110.26934691. I've already replaced the clutch, the timer and by pass the lid switch. The spin clycle is still intermittent. When the spin cycle does not work: It drains fine with the baket on low spin. Then the basket gets to a higher spin. The basket stops, the timer and motor continue through the spray cycle and the spin cycle, to off, leaving the laundry wet.

I have the Kenmore 90 Series 26912 and it fills correctly but makes a clicking noise and will not agitate or drain. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I just bought a used kenmore 90 series washer. I am having a slow spin cycle problem. The clothes are soaking wet at the end of the spin cycle.

I don't really know how to use all te knobs. Is there a user manual online?

My 90 series washer model 110.26912691 fills and then stops. There is a ticking sound which makes me think the timer is working ... not. But the knob turns until it gets to the spin cycle ... and it does spin. It also drains. It just won't agitate. It doesn't even try. I've already gone through the trouble of inspecting the coupler and even though it looks like it could use a new one it's clearly not the problem. My bets on the timer but I'm going to look around a bit more. Unfortunately this problem doesn't seem to be as common as the whole coupler thing.

Yes the clutch is right above the trans mission you have to pull trany and there are pads you can replace them and take scotch brite to the lining try this first if pads look good spray some brake cleaner on the pads they may have grease on them
