When you see the first screen (the orange one) hold the UP button as the bar moves across the bottom of the screen. Let go right before the screen goes to the silver logo. If it continues and opens Prefs, then you need to delete the program causing it to reboot. If that doesn't work, do a Hard Reset. A Hard Reset will erase everything on your Treo, so only do it if you have to. Google how to and it will work perfect.

I believe that serial numbers are different for everything and that only model numbers stay the same. Most likely, the screen will work.

You can get the LCD on your Palm Centro Replaced at Dr. Cell Phone. They provide nationwide mail-in cell phone repair service.

take your sim card out and any memory chips. These can usually be salvaged. You might get lucky with the phone, but most likely, even taking it apart and letting it dry, it won't work correctly.

You have water damage

I had the same problem bought a replacement screen on ebay, search on you tube for instructions on pulling 750 apart and replacing screen only took 5 minutes and it works. If I can do it anyone can.

While holding the power button and re-inserting the battery will prompt you to choose whether or not to erase all data. If you choose "yes" the phone will reset to factory defaults. This should be done as a last resort, but at this point the phone is not functioning at all. Once restored, you can sync it with your pc or laptop and it will import all of your contacts, notes, favorites, and calenders just as it did before. In the future you may want to think about using an SD card for documents or other important information that could be lost in the event you have to reset again.

I was able to find many parts for my 700w on ebay including keyboards. You should be able to find what you need too and the keyboard is a sinch to remove and replace onew you have the two needed tools to open your phone, the T-6 screw driver and a cover removal tool that help unsnap the cover which is a bear to do without the tool. Do an ebay search to "Treo Cover tools" or "Touch screens for Treo 650" and you should find all you need.
