Re: compatibility

Any AGP model geforce should work. The newest models offering agp are the 6XXX series. Just be careful as they come in both PCI-E and AGP models. You want AGP of course..

EVGA Geforce 8400GS is compatible with FOXCONN G31MV-K Motherboard?

Check your installed ram sticks. (one at a time) the card is compatible with your board But the problem may be with your operating system and not the hardware. on start, press F8 and select "Last known good config" if the system still fails you may have a duff card.

Computer powers up but monitor wont displays from video card, so I swithch to motherboard connectors

This may be because your graphics card is not compatible with your motherboard, If you are using a newer Intel motherboard for example with Intel HD Graphics, there may be issues with using an older GeForce card with the board.

I can't play pes 2010 because of gpu shader 2.0

Direct X 10 GPU with full Shader Model 4.0 support delivers unparalleled levels of graphics realism and film-quality what the manufacturers web site says
[for the game]
* Windows XP SP3, Vista SP1
* Intel Core2 Duo 2.0GHz or equivalent processor
* 8GB free hard disk space
* 8x DVD-ROM Drive
* DirectX 9.0c compatible video card. 256MB Pixel Shader 3.0 (NVIDIA GeForce 7900 or AMD/ATI Radeon HD2400 or better)
* DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
* DirectX 9.0c or higher (included on Disc)
* Multiplayer: TCP/IP Broadband Internet connection
* Windows compatible USB Gamepad
* 1280 x 720 monitor resolution

where can i get a "GPU Shader 2.0?"

you need a new graphics card, shaders are a hardware limitation.
you can try to update the card i hope this helps you and please vote for me

Is DFI AK75-AL compatible with 128Mb/128 bit video card?

Yes, the DFI AK75-AL motherboard has a VIA KT-133A chipset which is compatible with a FX5200 videocard, but not at the full 8x AGP speed (as the videocards supports) but only at 4x AGP speed (maximum speed supported by the motherboard).

PS: Make sure you use the newest motherboard BIOS en VIA chipset drivers to ensure compability.

Mother board - video card compatibility

if you have a built in video on mother board there is a setting in its setup hit delete at beggining right at startup for bios

you need to disable your built in video either by jumpers by manufactures book on jumper settings or go into bios at begining and see if there a setting to shut off on board video
these 2 are having conflicts with each other and you will only be able to see dos boot area with both these cards

and yes it is compatible as long the buses and slots have same configurations
