I had the same E01 error code. I moved the unit to another plug and it worked like a charm. Keep trying different plugs.

The solution above worked the first time. Unplug wait 10 seconds then plug back in and hit the power button then immediately hit the cook button!! No error message!!

I got the same error message this morning. The slow cooker was too cold because I put a cold crock in there. I waited an hour, turned on the slow cooker, and then put the crock in (which was cold because I pulled it right from the fridge) and it worked!

I didn't have my crockpot in the frig, but outside in the garage (cold winters in the NW). Thanks! It works great now - just had to let everything warm up :-)

I did this as well, actually before looking up the problem. I was just afraid it was some other problem and I really don't want a kitchen fire today!! I'm pretty pleased with myself that I came up with the solution! I am NOT mechanically or electronically inclined, as my husband will attest!

What does E1 mean on power pressure cooker xl

E1 means there is an open circuit on the pressure sensor. There are not any repair instructions so its broke, if your unit is still in warranty, take it back to the store you purchased it.

West Bend Slow Cooker error code: "E01". - holding "cook" button while plugging/unplugging did not fix the problem.

if you put something frozen or cold in it and let set for awhile without turning on then you must take it out let unit get room temp. then start it . E01 error means the unit is too cold to start.
