Replaced with new blade

I recently replaced the blades on the my Andis T-edjer. However, the blades are not operating as they should. I'm getting a dull trim. No noticeable difference. Are there any repair centers that can possibly assist me? Thanks from Georgia

If you are in Georgia there is a repair center in Atlanta called CJ Grooming Tools. You can either go to their shop or send your unit in for repair. Their phone number is 770-451-9275. If you would like to send your unit to the factory for repair or to talk with a customer service rep at Andis please call 1-800-558-9441.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

I have an Andis outliner II I purchased a year ago. I recently changed the blade but it won't cut my hair. Do you kow why?

Sometimes the new blades from Andis are not sharpen enough to get that clean cut. also all trimmers need to be readjusted for power and alignment, plus sharpening the blade, it look like you need a complete sharpen & service on your Andis trimmer. check out Manny's Sharpening they have a Mail Order service, the service they provide is fast and they will sharpen make all the adjustment and give your trimmer more power and the blade will cut clean. They will even adjust the blade at your request on how you want that blade to be set at. Line Ups or Fade Cuts and even shave set. Manny's Sharpening been around for over 20 years and they have a very good rating on the net. Check it out Manny's Sharpening

Brand new blades #10 in perticular leave stripes

hi, new blades are not the answer try replacing the blade drive assembly which is located at the drive end of the clipper and goes from side to side, as the clippers are used this part will gradually wear in width thus not moving the cutter far enough to complete a cut this will produce snagging in smaller blades and tram lines in larger blades like 7, 5, 4 and 3's. All Clipper Parts are available for these clipper repairs.

It keeps geting hot every time i cut my hair

you should put clipper oil where the blade contacts it's base (near the middle of the base) and spray kool lube or a similar product on the cutting edge.

My andis agc2 clippers will not cut hair now. They are also a little noisy. The blades have been sharpened and are oiled.

Providing the clipper blades have been correctly sharpened try replacing the blade drive assembly which wears in width and can cause numerous problems.
