Question about T-Mobile Dash Smartphone

3 Answers

Speakerphone Only My Dash will only operate on Speakerphone. If I make a call, or receive a call, it will automatically be on speakerphone. When I hit Menu, it shows that Speakerphone is off, and changing this option will not turn off speakerphone. Also, I am not even able to Mute calls during a call. I've tried using 2 different earpieces and no sound will come through them; it still operates on speakerphone.

I purchased a dash about 13months ago and on the last day of my warranty, the phone was stuck on speakerphone. Tmobile told me to reset the phone, and this worked for a day or two. Now, it won't go off speakerphone and Tmobile won't cover this under the warranty. Is there anything you know of to get the spkrphone off? I've tried resetting the phone many times...
and moving the tab where it charges didn't work...

Same as the problem always stays on speakerphone...I've synced it..nothing works!!!!

What exactly did you do to fix it?  I've read push on the tab that the charger touches but that still not fixing it.  Are you using the charger to push it?  I also read hook up the charger end and the USB end to the computer.  That's not working either.

That happened to me and I went into the bottom of the phone where you charge and pushed the little tab upward very slightly and it fixed the problem. Not sure why or how but it did. I hope it fixes it for you too.

How do i turn off the speaker on motorola razr v3c

The speakerphone remains on until you press the smart/speakerphone key again or turn off the phone. You will see Spkrphone Off.
You can also set your phone to turn off the
speakerphone automatically after 20 seconds of inactivity:
Press the center key > wSettings > Initial Setup> SpeakerPhone > 20 sec timeout
Also The handsfree speaker is disabled when you connect your phone to a handsfree car kit or headset accessory.
All The Best!!!

I have i8910 , how do you operate the speakerphone. Is there a switch or button to allow the speakerphone to operate?

I checked the manual for your phone and there is no instructions to access the speakerphone function.

However, on most PPC's that function is not available until a call is in progress. Look for it while a call is in progress.

While the phone is on and open it should say "speaker" in blue above the button on the right. When you push that button it should turn speakerphone off. And if you have hung up the phone it should automatically turn off until you turn it on again.
