Question about Karcher G3025OH Pressure Washer

Karcher pressure washer works only with low pressure

I have a karcher pressure washer model # g 2600 vh. It will only spray at very low pressure. I was using the one i had borrowed from my job it was working fine. I purchased one that was used at sams. I disconnected the garden hose i was using on the first one and connected it to the one I just bought. It only sprays in low pressure. the engine starts fine it sounds like it should but will not pressurize. when i disconnect the hose the screen filter on the one that was working was shaped like a cone with the peak of the cone facing out. the one i just bought seems to have the screen facing in?

The inlet screen orientation is of no consequence. Either way should work fine. Check two things...

1) Many of the spray nozzles have a high and low setting at the tip of the wand (where the water comes out). See if your nozzle has any "Push-Pull" movement (with the unit turned off). If so, it might be set in the "LOW" setting and needs to be changed.

2) Located on some SIDE MOUNTED pumps is a "Variable-Volume" adjustment. It may need to be turned to increase the flow and should be marked with a plus (+) and minus (-) along with direction arrow.
NOTE: If your pump is mounted on the bottom of your engine you will not have this adjustment.
Hope this helps!

How do I fix a Karcher 2600 PSI pressure washer has water in oil..

you mean water in the pump oil ??? or engine oil ???

im suspecting pump oil... you didn\'t seal it properly or you have a crack somewhere in the main housing. rarely is it viable to repair these pumps... if you search a little you can find replacements pretty damn cheap !!!

Milky engine oil

suspect water in oil... just change the oil and see if it returns. it's very rare that a pressure pump can get water into the engine

Water will not come out of sprayer

either the checkvalves closed on the inlet or the chemical injector on the output may be clogged they will have to be removed for inspection.

How do I change the oil

I assume you are talking about the pump. Not good, remove
pump, disassemble and oil falls out. Put in new oil upside down
and reassemble pump, then reinstall.

IT HAS PRESSURE BUT IT PULSATES INSTEAD OF STEADY SPRAY

I have same model with same problem. Tried the easy fixes:
unloader valve lube and clean, inlet water sufficient, and nozzles and hose are fine. Broke down pump and called for parts (about $50 for 3 inlet valves and some seals) hopefully this will fix it. Mine has been used in my business pretty hard for a few years, so not bad.

Can the pump be replaced? If so can it be a "do it

yes, the pump can be replaced but I would recommend trying to repair the pump first, see this link to repair the unloader valve, 9 times out of 10 this is the only issue with the pump

What viscosity oil is recomended for oil change?

  • Gasoline-powered pressure washers use an SAE 30W motor oil (10W-30) in the engine. Always consult the engine manual for specific instructions and be careful to put the correct oil in the correct place.
