Remove the front panel to get to it. Once you get the front panel off it is easy to remove the drum and replace the element. First remove the top then the front then you have it.

My dryer suddenly stopped drying today. It just blows cold air. Before I took notice of all the lint in dryer, I took the heating element coil out which doesn't look damaged.

The lint MAY have caused a thermal limit fuse to blow out. If that is the case then it has to be replaced. There is also a chance that the heater element has failed and as you saw it is like a light bulb coil. You need to inspect it very closely if you don't have an ohm meter to test it for continuity. Frigidaire affinity dryer not heating up after replacing the heating element. It will heat up for a minute then goes cold but dryer keeps spinning.

did the original element bad? you probably replace the wrong part for the problem. check your coils, there's two of them right in front of the element.

I have a daewoo dwr-we3011rr dryer and want to be sure my heating element is bad and not another issue. dryer turns on and tumbles fine but has no heat.

Try to find someone who has an ohm-meter or a multi-meter and can take your machine apart and test the heating element. One that is working should show continuity through the element., One with a blown element should show no current flow through the element.
Be blessed.
