Re: front load dryer

Remove the front panel to get to it. Once you get the front panel off it is easy to remove the drum and replace the element. First remove the top then the front then you have it.

Dryer runs but does not heat up

The heat element may need replacing. They burn out once in a while. Check all fuses as well and if you have it apart make sure all wires are plugged together where they are suppose to be. We had a wire that pulled apart and the repair man came and five minutes later he left with me paying a bill.

Frigidaire affinity dryer not heating up after replacing the heating element. It will heat up for a minute then goes cold but dryer keeps spinning.

did the original element bad? you probably replace the wrong part for the problem. check your coils, there's two of them right in front of the element.

I have a daewoo dwr-we3011rr dryer and want to be sure my heating element is bad and not another issue. dryer turns on and tumbles fine but has no heat.

Try to find someone who has an ohm-meter or a multi-meter and can take your machine apart and test the heating element. One that is working should show continuity through the element., One with a blown element should show no current flow through the element.
Be blessed.

You will need a professional to diagnose the thermal limiter, small version of a fuse, heating element and the dryer/blower assembly.
