the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Hi there, Your printer is printing documents that have been lying in your printer cue for a while.. To delete the que i would advise to do the following..
Click start - Control Panel - Printer or (Devices and printers) Then just double click the printer that you have connected It should open a window with a list of files in it. Just right click in the window and select cancel all prints or you can just click a file and hit delete on the keyboard..
Hope it helps,

There is one ( 1 ) printable item cancelled but cannot be removed, so my printer doesn't print. " it says 1 document in queue. what shall I do ? thanks

Turn off your computer for about 2 minutes same with your printer. Then turn on your computer first and if you are already on your desktop turn on your printer. Then go control panel and click your printer and delete the queue document. Have a nice day!

I want to cancel to print and my printer doesn't have a cancel icon to do this. do I just turn off my printer? My printer is PH Photosmart. Please advise - I'm new to all this. Thank You.

When u print it goes to a "cue" on the pc and stays there untill done. Turning off your printer will not work as the "job in the cue" is still there. When u turn on your printer the job starts up untill finished.

Ok to stop a print job turn off printer.

........Hope you are running windows 7
1.) Open devices and printers
2.) double click your printer
3.) select see whats printing dialog
4.) select the items in the list then right mouse click
5.) select CANCEL
6.) The job is now deleted from the que so when you turn your printer on it will not start until you print your next item.

Unable to delete/cancel print job while it runs-lbp 2900

Hi.

To temporarily delete the print jobs in the cue do the following:

Disconnect printer USB.
Restart printer.
Restart computer.
Access printer cue with printer not connected (get there from control panel)
Clear printer cue.
Connect the printer back.

If the printer cue gets stuck too often, and always with different documents, try reinstalling the printer software.

Regards.

Ginko.

My printer isn't printing but it will scan and copy. It has items in the cue to print but they aren't working they are sitting idle.

First reset the computer and printer.
  • Unplug printer from wall
  • Restart computer
  • Plug printer back in to wall
Try to print now. This commonly occurs when files are stuck/corrupt in the print cue.
Remember
  • Only hit the print button once.
  • If it doesn't print immediately wait.
  • Wait some more
  • Open your printer que (xp Start button>Control panel>printer and faxes> double click on the specific printer.)
Now if this continues, use the above to see if the file is stuck in the cue. Try using a print test page from the printer control panel before anything else.

If the Test page works and your other print doesn't, then it is your application. Print from something else.

If even the test page won't work, then it is your drivers or your supplies are low.

Many of these printers won't work if you are out of ink. There may be a light on the printer flashing and you are out of ink.

Documents appear in the print cue but do not print and then "error" appears in the cue - have restarted the computer and checked the printer connections - can't seem to find the problem

Click on the Start Menu -> Run, then type services.msc .
Scroll to the Print Spooler service and right click, and click Stop. Then navigate in explorer C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ folder. Delete its contents, go back to services and Right click on the Print Spooler service and click on Start.

Job stuck in cue, won't delete. printer won't print

Have you tried restarting the print spooler?
What exactly is the version of you PC? WINXP, 2000, Vista?

If you are running on a Windows 2000 or Windows XP

1. You just need to click on START > CONTROL PANEL > Administrative Tools then Services

2. Inside Services window scroll down and look for print spooler

3. Click on stop the service and then after at least 5 seconds start the service

4. Restart your computer and check again if the print job is still there.
