The handle is very loose. How do I tighten it?

Pop off the cap on the handle. You will see a screw under the cap. Tighten it down. Sometimes the handle gets stripped, in that case, you will need to replace the handle.

There are two shower handles, one to divert to the shower head and another to divert to the rain head. one of these handles has loosened and falls away from the neck.

Look for an Allen screw hole the Allen is loose or has stripped and needs to be changed out. Sometimes if they are over righted they strip on bottom, also make sure it hasn't backed out completely. Some older handled have a square piece that the handle goes over then the screw is tightened under a plastic cap tha has hot H or cold C on cover.

Loose handle falls off during shower...I tightened the little screw in handle...doesn't seem very solid?

Hi Kurt,

I am presuming you're referring to a lever-style handle as opposed to a standard knob style which is held down with a substantial screw. The lever-style is held in place with a small allen-key screw in a low visibility area on the lever.

If correct, the tip of the allen-key screw is usually ground to a point. This point is usually to rest within a receiving depression/grove or the like. Ensure that your lever is aligned to permit this match. If the screw is coming lose despite this, back out the allen-key screw fully, clean the threads in the lever with rubbing alcohol, then apply a very small dab of light/medium strength Locktite. Re-insert the screw into the lever, and reposition.

Good luck.

Handle dome keeps coming off

Sounds like the setscrew that holds it on has either worked lose and is missing or is striped and no longer tightens properly. Replace set screw if missing and or replace set screw if the set screw is striped. If the threads are stripped in the faucet body the faucet itself will need to be replaced. This usually does not fall under Moen's warranty guidlines.

My lever on my single handle kohler shower faucet is very, very loose. How do I tighten the lever. I don't see any screws or place for an allen wrench

There should be a screw hidden under a cap. depending on the model/style it may be as small around as a pencil diameter or as large as a half dollar (the larger is most common on acrylic handles) Just gently pry this off and you should find a phillips screw underneath.

I have a single lever Moen faucet where the handle is very loose and there is no button on the back side that would reveal an allen key, so I cannot tell how to tighten it back up. What should I do?

On almost all moen single handle faucets there is no allen set screw to hold handle on. They are secured by a screw located under Moen emblem in the center of the faucet on the top. You usually can get to the handle screw by prying cover off with small blade screwdriver or point of knife blade.. Tighten screw and hopefully this will fix your problem. Thank you.

The entire faucet is lifting off and spraying water at the joint when the lever is activated and water is being used,do I need to call a plumber to repair this. It seems that the faucet cannot be screwed...

No you do not need a plumber,
below under the sink, there are two valves, One for Hot ,One for Cold.
Turn them to the right.make sure they are turn all the way with a little pressure at the end. Now the kitchen has no water.
With a wrench ot pliers remove the water hoses, There may be a little water left in the hose so don't panic.
Now this may be a little harder.
Put yourself all the way under the sink, with you on your back.
Do you see the taps. There may be a fitting with screws. remove screws and fitting. You should be able to remove the whole Tap.
With you new tap... Follow their instruction.
When you are putting the hoses back on.. make sure they are slightly snug.
We don't want it to leak again.
Turn you water back on and slowly turn on your taps.
