Question about Car Audio & Video
I have a 2001 Lexus LX470 with a 6 CD Changer. I can not eject the changer at all. The CDs play, but that's it. Also, juice was spilled near the changer. How do I go about getting the changer to eject?
Open the eject door and at the lower right side of the cartridge their should be a small indent that looks like you could poke it with a medium point pen. That's a reset for the changer. If that does not work, you will need to remove the changer from the car, pull off the top, plug the cable back in and hit eject. look for the arm on the backside of the cartridge and give it a nudge. It may just be stuck. Loading mechanisms usually do not fail before the optics or other!. If you need further help, post a comment with any model #'s on the changer and I'll look for info and help some more. Hope this helps.
