A big E appears when I turn it on. What is that??

Ur tv still have the funsctions ON like Close Captioning.U have the tv original remote wright?Yes?Tries the remote button like CC on ur tv remote pushes it a couples make sure like CC1,2.3..turn all off.Tries go into the tv Menu tries looking for Closed Captioning functions turn CC1,2,3...turn it all off and Text1,2,3...turn it all off too.These two functions off.Tv will stop this big black box poping up on the tv screen.

Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.

It may have changed your screen resolution and left it unchanged...

First right-click on the desktop and then left click on Properties from the menu that appears.

The display properties dialogue box will appear, click on the settings tab at the top right of the box and drag to arrow towards right so the numbers will increase,,

In some TV's closed captioning can cause this problem. turn off CC and see if that helps.

Connections are the most common either on the battery or the starter solonoid. Next would be a starter, but you would usually get a click down on the flywheel where the starter engaged but could not turn over. Finally an ignition switch, unlikely but contacts there do sometimes go bad there as well.

Go into the menu and find the "captions" heading. Turn off the "text" mode and you will be rid of your black box

I have the exact same issue. Does anyone have a serice manual for this model so I can see just how big a job replacing the clutch is?

1. CHECK C2P08 100 UFD 16 V OFF PIN 3 OF IC2P03 (3.2 VOLT REGULATOR) ON THE SIGNAL PCB. IS the set shutting off or the hor. lines?
